Packing today!

Hi Everyone,
We leave this week and I am in the middle of getting everything packed. This is our first trip during the summer. I am just packing shorts and tank tops mostly. I don't think we need a sweater or pants, but thought I would ask if this is something we should bring?
As far as I know it will be hot, hot, hot!
(I do have ponchos for the rain)

Zero need for sweaters, pants, jackets. Summer clothes for hot weather and anything you need for any rain

Good advice! We froze on the plane last month, but then lived in tanks and shorts for the rest of the week.

A light raincoat or water-resistant jacket wouldn't hurt with all the rain down here during the summer months

I prefer to wear jeans on the plane because I sometimes get seated in a spot where cold air is blowing directly on my legs, making me cold. I also figure I'm going to take a couple of hits from my luggage (or someone else in my party) and maybe I'll avoid blood loss with the protection of the denim. This time of year at WDW there's no way you'll need anything other than shorts/short sleeved shirts. In fact, you may wish you had the cold air from the plane blowing on you as you tour the parks

My wife would be bring a sweater if also wearing tank tops - because it's cold when you walk into and/or sit in air conditioning, particularly when coming inside from 100 degree heat.

Similar issue of walking at night - you might find the temperature relatively cooler than the daytime to prefer pants.

We will be arriving at WDW exactly 3 weeks from today and I think I've been mentally packing since early June! We'll be in shorts and tanks/tees during the day but will bring either a light hoodie or long sleeve shirt in case it gets chilly indoors. And of course rain ponchos...

I always bring a light sweater. Sometimes the restaurants can be chilly, as well as the airplane.
