Packing Tip - Chinese Folding

I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THAT VIDEO, BUT AFTER 15 MINUTES IT ONLY DOWNLOADED 31 PERCENT, TAKES TOO LONG, THANKS ANYWAY

Wow, I would have never thought of folding that way! It's easy to do too- I had only watched her doing the first shirt 2 times and went to try it on one of my shirts- it was easy! Wow...

That was really cool. I'll have to go try that...

That is really cool! Almost looks like a magic trick! :sunny: I wonder how well the wrinkles stay out of clothes if they're folded like that, then packed into a suitcase. I'd guess they'd stay pretty good.

Thanks for the post :)

I played the clip for some of my dds and they have been having a hysterically good time seeing who can do it the best :) They have been folding all kinds of laundry, I will enjoy it til the thrill wears off and then its back to duty for me :)

Thanks so much for this link! Fantastic!

Cool!

Did everyone notice the stuffed Mickey Mouse on messy chest of drawers at the beginning?

I don't know where you ever found it, but it's really neat!! I can't wait to try it!! Thanks! :wave2:

I wasn't able to view this link, don't suppose there is any way to "describe" what this is?

Sounds interesting!

Hmmmm.....let me try here.....

1. Lay a shirt out flat.
2. With your right hand, pinch the shirt about a third down from the shoulder and about a quarter of the way from the left edge. This would be just to the bottom left of the left breast area as you are looking at the shirt.
3. With your left hand, take the top edge of the shirt midway between the left arm and the neck and fold it over your right hand (which is still holding the shirt per step 2 above) and grab the bottom of the shirt about a quarter of the way from the left along the bottom hem.
4. Lift up the shirt and pull out your right hand, bringing that part of the shirt with you that you grabbed in step 2.
5. Lay the shirt flat again, laying it down with your hands away from you, not towards you.
6. Fold the sleeve straight across, if there is one.
7. Fold the shirt up about a quarter of the way.
8. Turn it over and, ta da... there you have a perfectly folded shirt.

Great link...but I couldn't understant a word that guy was saying...:p Thanks...

I love it....going to do laundry now just to practice LOL!!!! Really, I will use it for my next trip.

I think it was pretty funny that I heard "bla bla bla T-SHIRT! bla bla bla bla T-SHIRT!"

disclaimer ~(there was absolutely no way to write that without it possibly offending someone, so please know that no offense was intended)

I was laughing at that too! Mostly, I'm just impressed at how easy it was to follow even though it was in a different language. I might have to try that for packing.
