1) No limit on liquids in checked baggage.
2) Not sure since I don't use makeup.
3) Pills can be in carryon. I believe liquid OTC medicines have to follow the 3-1-1 rule. I'm not sure about prescription.

Anything that will not hold it's shape, if out of the container, has to be less than 3.4oz and in your quart baggie. Powdered makeup (blush, eyeshadow, pencil liners) can just go in your carryon anywhere. I usually put my mascara and gloss/lipstick in the baggie...just in case.

There is no limit to liquids in your checked bags...just be sure to bag them up before putting them in the checked bags. That way, it it leaks, you won't have a mess.
And meds are fine anywhere. I put them in my carrryon just to be sure I have them with me and they don't get lost....just in case my checked bag is delayed.
