Does anyone know where I can find the travel size space saver bags?? I tried Walmart, but all they have are the ones you hook up to a vacuum. Also, has anyone ever used them, do they work?? Thanks:earsgirl:

A couple of our friends who are frequent travelers have used them, and said they wrinkle your clothes something terrible, so you might be prepared to iron.

I was told they're available at Sam's?

I think I remember seeing them at a samsonite outlet. Also on QVC and if you do an internet search, you can order direct from the company. If I remember right, I got mine through QVC. The one thing I don't like, is if you don't have the "ziploc" part of it fully closed, air just seeps back in. It was handy in our backpack at WDW. We carried one inside the pack. When it rained, we put all our stuff in it....the whole pack. Then when it quit raining, we folded up and put the wet ponchos in it!

I bought mine at Target. They were with the suit cases and other travel bags. I paid 5.00 for the large bag. I agree the clothes do appear to wrinkle but, we will bring an iron and opt for the more space in our bage.
Have a great trip.

I bought mine at Target also. They have a couple pf sizes. I think they are wonderful. I do not put shirts and shorts in them because I figured that they might get too wrinkled. But they are great for underwear and soxes. Something was telling me that my suitcase may get the random search last spring on a flight to Orlando. I bought a set of them for my unmentionables and I was so glad I did. When I opened my suitcase up there was a letter from the FAA saying that my bag was picked randomly for a complete search. I am glad that they did not have to go thru my underwear and soxes. Won't fly without them every since.

I found mine at WalMart by the luggage, in a pack that came with three each of two different sizes, not the vacuum kind, but the ziplock seal and squeeze out the air through a valve in the bottom kind. Stuff gets a little wrinkled, but it all shakes out, plus I don't worry too much about shorts and t-shirts getting a little wrinkled, just spray them lightly with a water bottle (travel size), smooth them out and let them dry. I like them because they can easily be inspected by the TSA if necessary without them *touching* anything, and can easily be put back in the suitcase without anything getting lost. Plus at the end of the trip I can put all the dirty, stinky clothing in the bags without contaminating any of my souvenirs or any remaining clean clothes and empty them into the laundry basket when I get home!

I bought mine from the TV, but I have seen them in the "AS SEEN ON TV" stands in a couple of the local shopping malls around here.
I don't know if they have these in malls in other parts of the country though.

Good Luck!

I just use the 2 gallon size Hefty zip lock bags....they work just as well as the "space" bags. They are not huge but I pack all our undies, swimsuits, coverups, etc. in them.
