Clothes for any type of weather! We went when they were forecasting 80 and 90 degree weather and it ended up being in the 40s and 50s we were very unprepared so always bring clothes for every kind of weather no matter the season or forecast. Layers are best. You can add or remove to work with the weather and stay comfortable.
Comfy shoes.
Crocs are good but they can give you blisters, tennis shoes give you blisters and take forever to dry if they get wet. I highly reccommend a good pair of flip flops with wide, cloth straps and a thick, foam sole. I have a pair of Teva's that have brought me through 5 trips so far and they are still going strong.
Clear bags. They are so much easier for the bag check points
Refillable water bottles.
Your own snacks. Make sure to get ones that don't melt.
Sunscreen. It doesnt matter what the season or weather, Florida sunshine is brutal.
Swimsuits.
Cameras and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of batteries.
Hats/ Sunglasses.
Power Strip for charging phones, ipods, laptops etc.
Garbage bags (for dirty clothes)
Chapstick
Any Medication you might need. You never know when you may be in the middle of a park and need an advil, benadryl, etc. And it is super expensive in the parks.
Thats about it as far as essentials go. Add in anything to tailor it to you and your groups needs.
Hope that helps!
