I'm trying to pack for 7 people and pulling my hair out! Last year we went to DL for spring break and it was kind of cool, jeans and jackets weather, one day, rainy and cold one day, and HOT the third day:confused3 . I hadn't packed enough jeans so we did alot of laundry:headache: .

I can't decide what to pack for this trip, next week. Weather.com is saying 70 degrees and sunny most of the time, is that shorts, capris (for us girls), or jeans?! I can't believe I'm having this much trouble with this! I really just don't want to overpack because we already have to bring so much with so many people.

Okay, originally I was planning mostly shorts and t-shirts, a sweatshirt and jacket for each person and a pair of jeans/pants for each person. Does that seem okay or should I pack more jeans?

Zip-off pants became my friend last year. If you don't have any, I would invest in some. Even though many are light-weight, the would be fine with sweatshirts or a light jacket for the morning or evenings. When it gets warm, zip off those legs and you're in shorts. No time wasted! (Note to self: buy new ones for the kiddos since they had to go and grow since last year.) ;)

Ooooh, great idea, and my boys love to zip those off.:thumbsup2

I pack layers for the top, short sleeved shirt long sleeved shirt or hoodie and jacket. For the pants, jeans or capri's and one or two pair of shorts. I figure as long as we have short sleeves on top, jeans will be fine if it is in the early 70"s......Remeber it will or can be cold at night.
