We will be at WDW the first weeK of February, what should I pack for the kids? :laundy:
Shorts and t-shirts or capris/lite pants and t-shirts? I was planning on jeans/pants and fleece for evenings?
I want to pack smart - any help is appreciated :thumbsup2
thanks

We're going the same time. I'm going to pack shorts and t-shirts, and jeans, and fleece and long-sleeved shirts too. I'm figuring on cold weather in the morning, warming up in the afternoon and getting chilly again in the evenings. I've bought disposable ponchos for all of us too.

Because we have to bring bulkier items, I'm just planning on doing laundry, since we really can't fit as much in our suitcases as we would if we were going in the warmer months. But I don't mind!! Leaving in 13 days!!

(attempts to control her excitement)

I was thinking of going the shorts route but dh thinks it will be too cool for shorts and we'll need pants or capris (for the girls) Definately jeans and fleece for morns and evenings - we've got rain poncho too !

Duffy - thanks for your input and where are you staying?

ok giving my 2 cents..3 yrs ago we went over martin luther king weekend..Well it was like 50 all day and drop to 30 at night ..I saw on the 10 day forcast and we took one pair of shorts we never used ..We used magic gloves and layers of sweat shirts...The day we left it was going to be 80 and we used our air cond leaving on the way home..Now i think our last day at the parks we were able to take off all our jackets and sweatshirts and just wore jeans and t ****s....We leave in 6 days and im watching the forecast up till we leave i am planning on more shorts this time it looks warmer then when we went..All the locals have told me the weather is up and down so pack for everything....Have fun regardless ...Lori

We're staying Feb. 1 through the 6th at the Wilderness Lodge. My husband and daughter got to go to Yellowstone this past August, and I couldn't go. So I picked the hotel that would make me feel like I am there!

We really like Epcot though, so we're going to spend the next 3 nights at the Dolphin--I got a killer of a deal using spg.com points. We booked 3 nights for $60 a night, plus 4,000 points each night. Total of $180 and 12,000 points for 3 nights.

We've never had a split stay, though, and I don't know which hotel I'm looking forward to most.

We'll be there Jan.30th-Feb.5th and I'm also packing a little of everything for the trip and I'm planning on having to do laundry too. We just don't have room for a whole weeks worth of clothes of all kinds!

Khaki or jean pants with layered tops... s/s t-shirt with a sweater or hoodie over it.

When we went in early Dec. two years ago, we packed gloves. Sometimes at night, our hands were a little cold and having gloves while riding on Thunder Mt. made it much more enjoyable. Plus gloves didn't take up a lot of room.
