Packing for trip~need advice from expert packers

I haven't started packing for our trip yet for two reasons:
1. the weather, not sure what it's gonna be. In the 70's I think which doesn't help much. Not hot, not cold.

2. I am a lousy packer. I always end up with too much or not enough.

We will be on the road a total of four days. (Two down and two back.) And we will be in WDW for a week. There are six of us in a mini-van. We do not have a car top carrier. Well, not a very good one. So, obviously space is an issue somewhat. The better packing I do the less crowded it will be.

I am looking for any little packing hints that can help me save space in the suitcases and van. We do have a washer/dryer where we are staying although I'm not sure how much time I'll have for laundry while there.

If anyone has any tricks that they would like to share I'd appreciate it.

*Pack little amenties in ziplock bags so you can find where everything is. Have everyone share items, so that everyone does not need their own toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner...if you need to bring those items. You could check with your hotel to see if they provide them or not.
