Packing for a 9month old!!

-baby tylenol/advil
-changing pad (some of the parks bathrooms have stainless steel/metal changing areas)
-lovies? blanket, stuffed animal?
-something to clean out bottles (dish soap)


about the lysol--how are you going to get it there? if you're flying, I don't htink you can take it on the plane. If the cleanliness is a concern, I'd pack some clorox wipes

Have a wonderful trip! We took DD when she was 7 months old for her first trip and it was wonderful!

Here's one--twice as much film for your camera as you think you'll use.

I'll also echo the thoughts on a Baby Bjorn. It was a lifesaver for us!

I'd also pack a travel size container of laundry soap. you could do a load of clothes and cut down on the packing. ALso, if there is a leak or nasty spit up, everything won't smell icky when you get home.

Does she walk? If she's going to be walking on the ground at the park, sure - protective foot wear is good. But, if she's just cruising - or barely standing - she won't need them. If you want something for keeping on socks or helping her to develop her leg muscles, try www.robeez.com or www.jackandlily.com - they're much better for babies' feet than "shoes".

Can't remember if it was Disney or Universal but on our last trip our 9 month old was refused on a ride because of no shoes! Didn't bring any with us so we had to buy some.

I know this has been mentioned, but I think it's worth repeating. Bring laundry detergent even if you don't plan on doing laundry. We always bring the tablets for the wash and some dryer sheets in a ziploc baggie (no leakage problems traveling). It never fails that we either run out of clean clothes, or DS messes his car seat cover or stroller cover. This way, even if we plan to do no laundry, we can wash those covers if necessary.

DS has been to WDW 4 times: 6 mos., 11 mos., 18 mos. & 22mos. EACH time we needed to wash the stroller cover, car seat cover or both. In addition to any regular laundry we did.

Also, I second bringing an extra pack n play sheet if you have one. Disney does provide a pack n play size sheet - but they leave you only one. You probably could call housekeeping if your baby messed up that one. But in the middle of the night, or actually any time, I would rather just throw a fresh one on than wait for housekeeping to bring one. And the extra sheet takes up hardly any room in luggage.

I also thought of one more thing that is part of our daily routine...if you read your DC stories, you might want to bring one of their smaller books (or 2) for nighttime routine. Again, it all depends on what your little one is used to...
