Packing canned drinks?

I was planning to bring about a dozen cans of Trader Joe's Triple Espressos with me for my caffeine fix in WDW. With the new TSA rules I know I can't put them in my carry on. Do you think I would have a problem with them if they were in my checked baggage? I'm worried about leaking, etc. Thanks!

I once had a suitcase and clothes ruined because someone had packed soda in thier checked bag, and it broke open and leaked all over my stuff.

If you are going to do it, pack them in double ziplock bags, and nestle them between your clothes in the middle of your suitcase.

Watch your weight--if your bag is over 50 pounds, you'll be charged an additional $50.

Have you thought about boxing and shipping them instead?
