My family thinks I'm nuts:yo-yo: , However, I have decided what I'm packing about 10 or 12 times. I figure I'll probably change my mind several more times before making my final pack.
Any one else this silly?:rotfl:

you mean that I may be silly because I reserved a section in my closet just for cruise clothes and because I wrote down all the dinners and activities AND wrote a list of outfits to wear????!!!

please don't call me silly...LOL!!!

Call me organized...it sounds better:D

:teeth:

Oh yea, that sounds just like me before our cruise in May. This was our first trip EVER to WDW (oh the horror! ), as well as our first cruise - so I didn't want to leave anything I "might need" at home.

I must have packed mine and my DD4 clothes about 100 times - into every suitcase we had. Two days before the cruise I finally concluded that it was the fault of the luggage ;) we simply needed BIGGER pieces! Luggage shopping we went and got the perfect piece...only to get to the world and then the cruise to determine - we needed about 1/3 of what I had in there:p Oh well - it's nice luggage and I went without needing a thing I'd left behind!

Of course - I could blame it on the fact the at the time - I knew nothing of this board

I sure do envy you packing for this trip - I think I could be ready to go on a moments notice now - as long as I was going! Oh yea... it's simple excitement - not nuts  Pack away Queen!

NUTS!!!

Heck no. We don't travel till next May for the repositioning cruise, and already have the majority of the clothes set aside! :hyper:

Pack away!!!

Debbie

We're just extremely organized. I made the last dry cleaner run yesterday. When DH got home from work I told him he needed to decide on his dress clothes and put them in my closet. He questioned my sanity! But I just wanted to make sure he didn't "accidently" wear his cruise clothes to work in the next three days!

See ya' real soon, Ann!

For our first cruise (May 2002) I was COMPLETELY packed by late February!!!! It wasn't like I was wearing those clothes anywhere else that time of year. I did discover the miracle of packing with zip lock bags and repacked once or twice (and got everything in one less suitcase!)

Our next cruise is 12/18, and I've already bought all of the new clothes we are taking (except my swimsuit, I'm waiting for end of season sales). All the formal stuff is set aside in one closet. I haven't packed anything else because 1) the kids are wearing it this summer, and 2) my kids are in a growth spurt, so I want to be sure it will still fit! I'll check the end of August, and buy replacements for what they've outgrown over the summer.

Obsessive???? Me???? Just very very prepared!

Me, too, Lisa
I finally got around to measuring Cash (I thought he was getting a little porkey) and, when I at last found a great sale on the Drsfosterandsmith website, bought him a new, bigger, backpack so that this time he can carry his own stuff! Yayyy! More room in the suitcase for MY stuff... See ya in December!

You know, I thought I was crazy when I packed a month early for a January cruise. However, I don't use those clothes during the winter, so they might as well be packed, right?

Well...I ended up needing to move UP the cruise, and did it only 48 hours before sailing. We had an urgent family situation that required me to be in town when our cruise was originally scheduled. Can you guess who was VERY happy that she was already packed?

Do realize that you have probably packed enough clothes for 3 cruises...and thin it out if possible.

Oh, Anne, i have done the same thing! Have a section in my closet, and mapped out on a legal pad what I am wearing when!
Actually figured I can take one less dinner outfit than I had planned! Of course, it all hinges on what night we get Palos!

See you and Tenya next week!

Hey Tenya,

Listen...finally broke down today and opened suitcases and started packing...

The BEST part though, was when DD16, Nicki, says..."Gee mom... Okay...I know I made fun of you for making that list and all, but I think I am going to have to do the same thing!!"

I REALLY gave her a hard time...and I enjoyed EVERY minute of it....!!!

See, we may seem crazy...but eventually, everyone else ends up following in our footsteps!!!

Take care...can't wait to meet you...picked up the Home Depot paint chips...people at home depot are probably wondering why I was jumping up and down on the way out of the store over some paint chips though...LOL!!!
