Packed & Ready!

Righto - all packed and much excitement in the household! For a change this year we are staying at the Park Inn hotel at Heathrow on Sunday night before we fly to Miami at 9.45am on the Monday. It is a bit like having a pre-holiday holiday!

So I don't have to update our food pictures and what we are doing in multiple places I have decided to blog so my family and friends can see.

So excited that the time is almost here, my DS13 who has been fairly nonplussed about the holiday has suddenly turned in to a hyperactive monster and is bouncing of the walls, DD is in planning overdrive and I am shattered after getting up at 5.30am today.

So off to bed now xxx

Have a great trip. Pack your sun cream, we have had the most boiling 9 days, it didn't rain at all for our first 5 days here. I thought the skies would explode!!!!

Eventually they did!

Lowest rain I have ever seen here for an August trip though.

We are all packed too, also flying Heathrow to Miami tomorrow, but at 11.15.

Arrived at Heathrow Park Inn and strolled across the road to The Three Magpies pub - DH and I both signed up to their email and got 2 x £5 off vouchers. We all had burgers DH had the Doner Kebab burger and I had the Indian Chicken & Mango Chutney in Naan burger.

Excellent food - would recommend this place to anyone staying at Heathrow. Flying time tomorrow!
