You cracky me up!!!:rotfl:

Ok, so I was just going through my tourguide mike's AVP and looking at advice for birthdays and all of a sudden it HIT me. I am NOT going to be at WDW for my anniversary this year:headache: QUOTE]

EXCUSE ME if I don't feel too sorry for you! :rotfl:

YUP, still funny!!! And WHAT!?!?!?! What kind of sister are YOU??? I'm totally bummed and you're sarcastic? SHH, as if!

Jeanne, oooh, Wicked. I totally loved that book but have never seen the musical or heard the soundtrack, what, do I live in a cave??? I should get out more. I'm jealous of you for having a song from Wicked stuck in your head.

IT'S ALL ABOUT POPULAR!
IT'S NOT ABOUT APTITUDE
IT'S THE WAY YOU'RE VIEWED
SO IT'S VERY SHREWD TO BE
VERY VERY POPULAR
LIKE ME!

I'm sorry, but Jayden and I have been listening to the Wicked soundtrack all day long and that song is just stuck in my head! I love that song. But no, I don't think I'm popular. It could be just a lot of hate mail in that inbox :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao:

We are OBSESSED with the Wicked soundtrack in this house... my kids are constantly cracking me up with some Wicked observation or another. "Popular" has become my 3yo's highest compliment - I was trying on dresses this week and she made her favorite known by saying "Oooooh, Mommy, you look so popular!" She also carts her brother's Yoda doll around and calls it Green Baby Elphaba. :rotfl2:

Dexter's not immune either... we were listening to No Good Deed recently and after listening to Elphaba chant the spell in the beginning he turned to me, all bright-eyed, and exclaimed "Mommy! I didn't know Elphaba spoke Spanish!" :lmao:

While I'm waiting for my photos to upload into photo bucket, here is some fabric I won on :wizard: a few weeks ago. It is from Asia but doesn't smell weird : :rotfl2: (I'm almost disappointed) I'm going to use some of it to make Luke a bowling shirt for his birthday trip and hopefully will have enough left to use for some thing else.

th_IMG_0740-1.jpg

Oh my gosh, I love the fabric! If you don't mind sharing, would you PM me the seller name.

:thanks: for your kind words and prayers!!!!

I specially want to thank you... Adrianne, Crystal , Heather and everyone that PM me It really means a lot  sometimes the hug of a cyber friend is all you need to make you feel better

My husband is out of the hospital, fine but full of bruises and his hand(right) is swollen, he will be out of work for a while:worried: so our trip to Disney "might" have to be postpone depending in his surgery and when will he be back to work...But he is alive and that is all that counts(on the funny note I just found out that I was almost a millionaire as his life policy is for over a million dollars...OH WELL!!!!!MISSED THAT ONE:rotfl: )

My headaches are better ...(Thank you.. Saint Percoset;) )

so...like a good disboutique sister that I am here is what I worked on this morning

Linnette

Wow, I agree with everyone else, that is a favorite of mine from you! Fantastic job!

Glad your husband is doing better. Sorry you missed out on the million, too bad you can't have them both! Hope the trip to Disney works out okay.

Okay, get ready for TOO MUCH LILYS!!!

The dress is a teeny bit big, but that's a good thing. And her hair looks kinda stringy because it was still wet.

Very cute! No such thing as too many Lily's! I love the dress, great way to make something for the Fourth and be able to wear it more than then. Wish I had been that smart! :rotfl2:

On a side note, if this baby is a girl (and I think it is) Lily is the top choice name as of right now! Hope you don't mind sharing the beautiful name (along with all of the other Lily's on the board).

I need some advice!

I am making a little einstein dress using CarlaC stripwork pattern. I am using these 2 fabrics:
th_2008_0403Image0001.jpg

Which of these 2 should I use for the other strips?
th_2008_0718Image0001.jpg

I also went to Hancocks...I am in trouble! and got some different Wall-e fabric than I got last week, which will work for the bodice..
th_2008_0718Image0002.jpg

I also picked up the Nemo story book. I was wondering if anyone out there would trade the storybook for 1 of 2 things...either a mickey mouse storybook or a 101 dalmation pillowcase (new).

For the Einsteins I would choose either (maybe both) the red one or the yellow one.

I am loving the Wall-e fabric, I can't wait to see the movie. We are planning on taking the girls as soon as it comes out (so we can see it before the baby comes).

Here are some pictures from our recent trip...

Little Miss Lily is the cutest thing ever!! Never too much Lily. Fab job on the dress. Great fabric combinations and beautiful flower headband! She is too cute! and I almost hate to say it, but she's really growing up..

Hi Guys,

I need an idea - I am finishing a watermelon top in the round neck style - I made the neck part pink, and want to add seeds - any ideas for seeds? small buttons? any other ideas????

thanks, wendy

PS - if anyone wanted to trade some Wall - e for some shirred tink, princess or ariel fabric, let me know!!

DD has been asking for a Snow White set since I started sewing last summer!! I finally got around to it! Of course, my camera died after I took pictures so you all will have to settle for a sneak peek. I got some fabulous bows to match the set!! I'll share those pictures now, and I'll upload more later!!

I like the button idea!

   I finished my Fourth of July dresses today! Yeah! I am giving my extra bodice piece (it ended up being a little too small for my girls even though I was careful with the measurements) and fabric to a neighbor who has a younger daughter so she can make a dress for her too. I have to admit, this is the quickest I've ever "whipped" anything up! Two dresses in two days, it is a record for me. I wish my girls were still up so I could show them off but I will post pictures tomorrow.

Using the baby as a deadline sure does make me sew faster! I should be pregnant more often!

Now that they are finished, I can go ahead and have this baby. We are all set! (I just wish it was that easy!!!)

Hey, I'm afraid to get too excited about this, but I have a plan in the works! I'm trying to talk my mom into going to Disney with me the first week of February!!! I have 4 free airplane tickets (skymiles) and Henry doesn't want to go anywhere. So, I'm hoping Mom, Sawyer, Tessa, and I can take a little 5 night trip!! :hyper: :bitelip:

If anyone wrote you hatemail, they'd have to deal with me. (that's Miss Cammie's eyebrow arch, in case you didn't know)

I don't know that song!

You cracky me up!!!:rotfl:

YUP, still funny!!! And WHAT!?!?!?! What kind of sister are YOU??? I'm totally bummed and you're sarcastic? SHH, as if!

Hey, look, I found you the perfect smiley:charac2:
:rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao:
A totally sarcastic sister, THAT'S what kind!
I'm sure there are quite a few on this board that don't even know the origin of the word cracky. Don't you feel like an insider now?

I swear I was at Joann's the other day and saw watermelon seed shaped buttons, but maybe I was dreaming. Buttons would be cute. You could also use some embroidery thread and stitch some "lazy daisy" seeds. Is that the name of the stitch I'm thinking of?

Very cute! No such thing as too many Lily's! I love the dress, great way to make something for the Fourth and be able to wear it more than then. Wish I had been that smart! :rotfl2:

Thanks! The other day she was wearing a pair of jeans and she looked so tall and thin and un-baby like, even my sister commented on it  they grow up way too fast!

Congrats! Now you can have this baby! Delivery with my #3 was a piece of cake and she was the best baby ever (til she was about 16 months old).

:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: Hope that works out for you! I'm thinking about a trip that week too. The kids have 1/2 days on the Wed & Thu so I'm thinking it would be a good chance to take my oldest out of school for a few days while I still can-she'll be in 4th grade.

Those are both great! I looked at zebra fabric tonight. Love the bows too!

Have a very magical trip!!!!!!!!!

:confused3 It's been a CRAZY week (and it is only Wednesday-it IS Wednesday right?)

I am so far behind...... I skimmed the last page-I am not going to get caught up.

Anyone have "cliff notes" for the last 15 pages?:lmao:

I have been sewing, I made an overskirt for a petti, and an Elmo outfit. I will post pictures later.

That would be soooo fun! Hmmm...I have lots of skymiles...but I really should be saving them. I'm hoping we can all go to Hawaii for my BIG 40, but not sure if we'll be able to pull that off. With my vacation planning disorder (or skillz, however you look at it) I should already have it booked (even though I'm only 29 *ahem*)
