YAY!!!!! We are going in Sept too. Isn't so exciting!!!! Everytime the weather gets warm, I start thinking: Almost time for DISNEY!!! Great job with the ADRs by the way. That's impressive for booking right before free dining ends. You did get free dining right?

YES! WOO HOO! We got FREE DINING! I can't hardly even believe it! We would never eat at ALL of those places in one trip. But with this deal, you can't help yourself!

Here is my Father's Day project!!! I wish I had realized that the dots weren't going to line up in the back...but oh well! Please, please, please don't anyone get upset thinking this was CASEd. Yes, I understand there are plenty of Minnie Dot dresses on here. But I did not intentionally CASE anyone. I promise.

Seriously, the more dresses I make, the more excited I get for our trip!!!! I've been amusing myself reading Heather/Theresa's trip report. Excellent job so far ladies. Only problem is my DD is questioning why I didn't make her THOSE dresses (especially the Giselle one). Try explaining to a 4 year old that you really aren't up to that level :rotfl2:

It looks GREAT! I didn't even pay attention to the fact that the dots didn't line up until you said something. Don't worry about it - it looks great.

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering - how do you guys store your patterns that you print out and cut out?

Thanks, Wendy

Congrats! Now you have to start making some outfits for those princess meals!!!

Thank you BTW!

Anyone have any ideas for a snow white dress/outfit? DD's favorite princess is Snow White. She dressed up as Snow White last year but I'd rather not do the regular costume again.

Hey guys!
I finished the outfit Iwas working on. I took revrob's suggestion and did one leg of each. I had just enough dog bone fabric left for one leg.

I think it came out pretty cute. I skipped the appliques b/c I thought it would be too busy.

BTW these pictures were taken with my New Camera!   I had the old one since before DD was born so it was time for an upgrade!

WOO HOO! Guess what I'm doing? I'm on the phone reserving our next trip! September 19-28!

Yes, it is sooner than we thought, but we couldn't stand it any longer! We're trying to get in on free dining, too! Let the sewing begin!

we are their Sept. 20 - Sept 29. We will be a POP

We're back!!
It's a girl!!
On Tuesday June 10th we welcomed little
:cloud9: Adara Hazel Antonina :cloud9:
into the world and our family.
She was 7lbs 3oz and 20 1/4 inches long.
She is precious and perfect and we are settling in at home.
I'll work on getting a photo up. I doubt I'll get caught up on the last 30 pages
of this thread though! You've all been busy!

congrats

Does anyone remember if the cupcake birthday cake, was on this thread or was it on #5? I looked and can't find...of course I skimmed quickly to.

thanks :hippie:

So I used the search function and found it......that is our theme for party this year...cupcakes.

That was me! Glad you found it - I think I mentioned I got the pan at Jo-Ann? It was really fun to make - I made the bottom half chocolate cake and the top half vanilla. I also got the giant sprinkles at Jo-Ann.

SO CUTE! I love it! The pants turned out really cute!

I love the way the 101 outfit came out with the two different legs!

And I have always loved that snow white! I think it is perfect! Didn't you do Aurora and more too?

I used a tshirt and skort.

Would you have more pics? The outfits you made would be perfect for my nieces because they will not wear the regular Disney costumes. Dis you adapt ready to wear clothes? Thanks!!

I think Minnie Dot dresses are one of my favorite styles! Great job! It is so pretty!

I started my DD8 sewing simple things with my help. She wants a Hannah Montana Bday this year and our local Walmart has the cotton fabric still. So I thought we could make something for all the girls at the party together. Does anyone have any ideas besides a tote bag? I thought about a pillowcase as it will be a sleepover, but at $4 a yard, that is more than I wanted to spend. I love planning the party and doing fun original stuff, so I'm open to almost anything.

How about a crayon roll made for the larger twist up crayons?

What about a headband? Wouldn't take much fabric and is really simple to make.
