Well, I have to get my house cleaned up and get ready to sew and watch Robin Hood on BBC America tonight at 8 (central time) because it's a new episode!!!
Do any of you watch that? I think I have a little crush on Robin. If you haven't watched you totally should. It's a fun show for kids too!
We don't get BBC America. I miss a few channels that we lost when we moved from cable to satellite. However, I don't miss the higher bill. I wish I could just pick the channels I really do watch and only pay for those.
How is Riley today? I hope her night (and yours) was uneventful.
I finally found the nerve (and the time) to try to make a storybook skirt for my DD - sat down and figured out the ruffler (thank you CarlaC for the free e-book!) - got my fabric cut - sat down at the machine and thought "Hmmm, I should change my needle, it's been a while." The needle was stuck in there, and when I finally grabbed some pliers to pull it out, the entire assembly fell off and I can't get it back on.

or the other place, only to people I know or friends of friends. I am not confident enough in my skills to make the venture into the auctions but this happening to me today has really given me the boost that I needed to really amp up what I'm doing. I am going to make up some more things and start making my way to consignment shops and see what I can do.
Everyone watches it round my house but me cause if I sit, I am Dis'n baby!
First want to say you guys are all so talented! Now for my question- I see on ebay custom dresses with large fabric appliques on the bodice- not pieced appliques but one big print of Tink, or Aurora, Cinderella, etc. I have seen panels at
