Please forgive me if this is a repeat question. I am new to the board and there is so much info that I haven't been through it all yet.
I am planning on making welcome baskets for my kids first trip to WDW. I will be purchasing odds and ends before our trip to fill them with. I know that they have services that will make baskets for you, but being the frugal gal I am I want to do it inexpensively. Is it possible to deliver a box via UPS to your resort so its there for your arrival? If so will they put the box in your room or do you have to pick it up at check in? If there are any threads about people who have done this, does someone mind posting a link. I can't seem to find any. TIA :)

I can only answer part of your question. Yes you can have a package delivered to the resort. Make sure that you put AS much information on it as possible. Address it to the resort and also state gues name and check in date.
I believe they will hold it for you until the day you arrive. As far as how it gets to your room I am not sure. Maybe they can have some help you take it to your room.

We have stuff delivered all the time through work for our sales people that travel. So it's not that uncommon.

I made up gift boxes ahead of time before last fall's trip. I packed the boxes up in one big box, then mailed it down to CSR. Upon check-in the desk notified me that there was a package waiting and asked if I wanted it delivered to the room. When we got back from the park later on that night, the box was sitting on the table in the room.
