Packages at the Pop

We're staying at the pop, two connecting rooms. I want to make up my own goodie basket and mail it ahead of time. If I call the Pop will they open the box and take the basket out and put it in our rooms before we get there or give it to us at checkin? Trying to do this as a surprise to family.

We stayed at the POP last summer and someone had left a package for us to pick up when we arrived. We had to pick it up at the front desk. I am sure that you can pick it up at check in but I don't know if they will open it.

Unequivocally, no, they will not do that. A room isn't 'yours' until you check in - things can change.

They WILL give it to you at check-in, but they will not open it and place it in your room at any point.
