Two questions.

1. How many nights can you book a package for? The WDW website says only 8 but I would like to go for 9 and add dining.

2. I really dont like my AAA travel agent. She told me she cant make any room requests such an non smoking, room location etc. We will need a room at POR with a trundle. She said she just books the room and i get whats avail at check in. Cant they make requests for you?

1st question-- Yes you can. We have a nine night stay booked and also have the dining package for all 9 nights. I booked it about a month ago with my AAA agent. She told me that they just started offering stays longer than 8 nights with the dining option.

2nd question-- Yes you can make requests with your AAA agent. I made some requests with ours and they showed up on our AAA bill. You may have a sourpuss for an agent. I would try another agent. If you are unable to find another agent at your AAA location, try another AAA office in another town. If you don't have any luck with that route, call the hotel directly and ask them when you can make requests.

Ditto.

I have a pretty savvy agent here in So. CA., got her name off this board, posted by someone somewhere east of the Rockies who gave raves. Let me know if you want to switch and would like her info. It's a toll free #.

I would just call CRO and book the package myself using the AAA rate. Last time we booked with an agent it was a major pain. If you go through a TA, you don't have any access to your reservation yourself, you have to call the TA and they have to make any changes you want.

Just last week I found the BEST AAA agent in South Carolina and she really knows her Disney stuff. YES you can make special requests! Let me know if you would like her name and number. She was very prompt in getting back to me - much more so than any of my local AAA offices I tried.

I made a reservation through AAA and was able to request non-smoking. They actually asked me which I preferred. I don't know about room selection though I didn't ask.

I booked mine through my CAA or AAA travel agent in Feb and you can request stuff, they are just requests though is what my agent said. I asked for a non smoking room because I'm allergic to smoke. I wanted the top floor and building #27. My agent said likely the only thing that would be a positive would be the non smoking room because of my allergies. When we checked in at 11:35 in the am, I got all my request no problems. I just asked if they could honour any of my requests if possible and the gentlemen said yes all of them. I didn't demand them or say I was promised and I was nice. The only reason I booked through a AAA or CAA because last year when I booked through Disney they charged my VISA 4 times and my VISA was full to max 2 weeks before x-mas and they screwed up my x-mas.

You cannot book the package deal including the AAA rate through WDW--you can only book it through AAA. However, you can book room only w/AAA rate through WDW or AAA. It's pretty silly, as the only thing that's affected in either case is the room rate and it comes out the same $, but that's the way it is.

I was also able to request several things through my AAA agent. It sounds like you just need to talk with another agent. I was told that we would definitely get the connecting rooms because of minor children and the handicap accessible room. Beyond that I was told they are requests and will just have to wait to see if they're available. The person she spoke with at Disney was confident I would, but cannot guarantee them.

Glad to hear there is someone besides me that doesn't like their AAA Agent. I booked directly through Disney because I wasn't happy with mine.
