Package (Resort) Change Fees

I just want to clarify the terms of changing the resort in a package less than 45 days before arrival. I am booked at POP, but after the late summer code came out, I am considering switching to either ASSp or CSR with the discount. I am at 43 days today, and I suddenly realized that I may be charged a fee of $50 if I change resorts now. Is this correct? This seems sort of odd, especially if I want to upgrade from a value to a moderate and therefore, spend more money... I haven't received my documents yet. Thanks to anyone that can answer this!

I don't think they'll charge you the change fee if you upgrade to a better resort. You can always call and ask - never hurts to ask!

My understanding anything before 45 mark you are okay same goes after 45 mark as long as you are upgrading giving more money to Disney
