Been to Florida 3 times before and always booked a package (with TCD) - but now planning to return in 2011 and with budget tight not sure of the best route to take. We want to spend 7 nights at WDW Caribbean Beach and 7 nights at Royal Pacific Resort
From your experience do we
a) Book a package e.g Travelcity, etc
b) Book fly drive, hotels all separate.
If I go with option b do you have any suggestions on which companies you've used for hotels?
Would you book a fly drive then hotels, OR flights, hotel and car separately.

Planning to go in late June - is this a good time (previously been in Feb half term and May Memorial Day)

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Personally I would book it all seperate-tends to be much cheaper TCD are now part of Virgin, so their packages are not the same as they used to be.

Also just a heads up, the caribbean resort is now more expensive than the other moderate hotels (not sure why to be honest!) when booking through the U.K - Port Orleans and Coronado Springs are at a lower price :)

Every holiday is different. For us 9 times out of 10 booking seperate is the best option but the odd time, like this past Xmas a package was cheaper.

Price up the cheapest package you can find then get some prices for flights, hotels cars etc. See how it compares.

I prefer doing it all myself and being in control so even if prices were similar I would do DIY, others prefer a package.

If you post the best package price then people will give comments on it, let you know if they believe it can be done cheaper.

If you go for a std 14 night holiday TCD have some great prices at times, someone posted a few days ago a price, looked better than DIY to me.

I think the refurbished pirate rooms have bumped the price up, quite excessively IMO considering it's still a moderate!
