I just received this email. Looks like ANY order prompts a $6 fee now. (Not $5 and not $10. $6! ) No mention of refrigerated capabilities. Anyone have any more detailed information?? We will be in a family suite, so freezer was an attractive feature for breakfast foods.... ice cream.... Little confused about how I feel about that now. Thanks!

We are looking forward to your upcoming stay at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort.

During your stay, we will have a new process for package and grocery deliveries. Select vendors will be able to drop off certain packages and groceries at new locker facilities outside Melody Hall, near luggage services at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort.

If you or any guest on your reservation have eligible packages or groceries delivered from the select vendors to Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, package pickup instructions and notifications will be sent to the email provided, or confirmed when using Online Check-In service. Please ensure that they are promptly picked up. Certain items (e.g. alcoholic beverages) can’t be delivered to the lockers, and require Guests to pick-up the items in person. A $6 fee per grocery delivery or package will be added to the resort hotel folio for all deliveries dropped off at the locker facilities or received by the Disney Resort hotel. Deliveries are subject to the Disney Resort hotels policies and may be unavailable, limited or restricted. Click for additional details.

If you have any questions during your stay, please visit the Front Desk.

Sincerely,
Disney Destinations

I got the same email staying at the same hotel in February (also a family suite but not getting a delivery)

By searching the Disney website, it looks like All Star Music is the only resort that has the storage lockers installed and available for use. It does say there are a limited number of refrigerated lockers available, and they are first come first serve. That doesn’t seem very user friendly. I hope all the hotels aren’t heading this way, but I fear they are.

"First come, First served" is a misnomer in that I have no control over being first ....or last. Yikes.

Was charged the $6 fee at The Riviera a few weeks ago. We were hanging out in the lobby waiting for our room to be ready (after 5pm) when the food was delivered (at the lower level delivery area and not the main lobby entrance), but we had no where to put it so just had them store it. We had some refrigerated items (creamer, fruit, iced coffee), but there were no issues with the delivery.

It just dawned on me as well that they mention "selected vendors", but don't tell us who they are. I wonder how we find out and what happens if you use an 'unapproved vendor'? ....note that they started this new adventure with just one day notice. It begins on Dec 29, 2021. :confused3:confused3:confused3

On another board, someone posted the approved vendors were Amazon Prime, Garden Grocer, Publix, Walmart, and Instacart. I haven’t seen this firsthand, so I can’t verify if this is correct.
