Package delivery when switching resorts

We currently have reservations for 10 nights at the GF but are now thinking that seeing as though we're there for such a long time, maybe it would be worth trying two resorts - we thought it might help us decide which type of resort best suits our travel needs for future trips to WDW. We've stayed at ASMu & BC and are thinking we'd like to try a moderate (POFQ) for 4 or 5 nights & then head to the GF for 5 or 6 nights (switching resorts on a pool/relax day after a day at MK - we'll have our own vehicle)

We're still trying to decide if we want to do it but one question I have is: If we are staying at POFQ, have a package delivered from MK one day, then switch to the GF the next day...can we still have the package delivered to the GF even though we don't have a room # yet? Do you pick up parcels at the GF like at other resorts?

Thanks in advance,

Lisa

Leaving for WDW in 82 days:)

It usually takes about two days for a package to be delivered from the parks to your room...I would take it with you that day...or have it delivered to the front gate of the park and grab it on your way out.

It could involve some confusion...if you expect them to get it to the grand Floridian when you aren't there yet.

We changed resorts, had packages sent to new resort "no problem". When shopping the day before checkout at your first resort, tell the clerk your changing resorts. They take care of everything.:)
