Package Booking ???

Hi All,

We are planning a huge Jan 2014 family trip and I am curious as to how far out you can technically book a Disney Vacation Package? We want to stay in the Royal Rooms at POR and I just want to be sure I book sooner than later. We have done Disney many times but usually we just book 4 months or so before we go, and aren't really picky about resort.

But with a huge group going everyone wants to be sure they get 1st pick of resort when they want. Thankfully we are all staying at different properties otherwise this could be a disaster!

Vacation packages for 2014 should come out anywhere from June, 2013 to August, 2013. In years past, the rates always came out in August. But the past two years, they were released in June and July.

you can book 499 days in advance. You can usually book a room only by phone before the packages are released for the following year. Chances are if the new rates aren't out yet you will get a price adjustment once they are released since they charge you for the highest 2013 rate. The dining and ticket costs usually hold up the pkg price release it seems every year.
