Pack n' Play question

This is our first trip with a child (DD will be 6 months). My question is, do I call and request a pack n play before hand or ask when I get there? There was no option during online check in

Nowadays, We always just ask when we arrive. Housekeeping will bring it to you within a few minutes.

When we have asked for it in advance, it rarely is there when we arrive anyway.
