Hi everyone -
Can a pack and play fit behind the curtain in a moderate (POR)? My 18 month old (exactly 18 months today :) ) will sleep in one great - as long as she can't see us.
I know there are curtains you can pull across in the sink area but I'm not sure there is enough room for a P&P.
Thanks.

I'm not exactly understanding what you are thinking about doing, but yes there is plenty of room in the bathroom area behind the curtain. The only thing that I would say though, is that it would almost be like sleeping in a bathroom back home.

What I would suggest is view the P&P as a trundle in the room and I would not be surprised if mousekeeping even made up the P&P like if it were a bed. They did for us at CBR back in '07.
Anyways back to my suggestion(s). Also what we did was drap blankets on/around the P&P to keep it dark in the P&P and our little P-Nut slept quite nicely in that.

Yes she was old enough to pull the blankets down and such, but by the time bed time came around she was too tired to do anything other than sleep.

I suggest you take some time each night with little ones to go swimming, even if it's for 20 minutes or less, then give them a bath and use plenty of lavender bubble bath :ssst: :rolleyes1 and you should be good to go.

yes it would fit but I know that my dd would have gotten into anything she could back there The only space is under the hanging area in POR but the iron board is there plus access to the sink and shelves!l:rotfl2:

We put the p&p against the wall next to the bed (near the door) and she was so exausted she just crashed as soon as she hit the pillow.

The blanket idea from pp is a good idea too.
Best of luck and have fun!

We did this in November with my 22 month old DD. It worked out well and she was so tired, she didn't bother anything.
Next year though she'll be close to 3 and I might have to bring one of those inflatable beds.
Good luck

Thanks for the answers everyone. I hope she will be tired - it sounds like we will probably put the p&p by the door. She usually puts up a good fit if she can see us. At home though, she goes to sleep every night without a peep in her crib.

We just stayed at Coronado and since we have twins (2 years old) we fit 2 pack-n-plays in the sink/closet area. We just made sure everything was pushed back so they couldn't reach it. It worked out great with the curtain because then DD9 could have a light on or watch tv and not bother her sisters.

Yes - and I have pictures!! Let me find them. This is exactly what we did for our 18m old at CSR and it worked out perfectly!

BTW, our DD is an excellent sleeper, but still needed a quiet space to sleep. We took her home every afternoon for a long nap and shut the curtains. We did the same each night and it worked out great.
