P & S with video for dark rides??

I've searched but am not coming up with anything, or too much to sift through.

I want to get a p & s camera to take on ToT and RnR and some other dark rides to capture my kids face. I've seen some videos on youtube and it looks cool, instead of having the black outs like my videos have in the dark spots.

Can someone recommend one that's not that expensive, since I'll be using it for one week a year?

Are you looking for something that does the greenish night vision looking video?

Anything that will let me see my son's face during the dark parts of the rides. If it's greenish, that's cool.

I'm not sure about P&S cameras but "nightvision" mode on my Sony Handycam does that. Some handycam models start around $120.

I got so excited and ran for the manual for my camcorder, which I swore I wasn't lugging around this trip. No "nightvision" on that one. Only "low light" and even with the TV on in the room nothing showed up on the tape. Oh well.

I may look into a handycam though, mine is old and a bit awkward, and heavy for such a little gadget!
