P.O.T.C. On Stranger Rides! The Missing Chapter,,Final Thoughts,, Preview Thoughts.

ok! confusion set in, and I was thinking of patches, and called jeremy "her". corrected it.
long day.. started out at the opthalmologist.. having measurements taken for my cataract surgery next month. then I ran out to do a bunch of christmas shopping (still trying to hit as many thrift stores, church resale shops, library used book sales as I can.. to find as many James Patterson . Alex Cross novels as I can. .

I picked our new DIL in the grab bag, and she wants to read the whole series. our grab bag is a $30 limit, but I thought.. why not buy her a few new books, and try to get as many used ones as possible (screw the limit) and have a great big box full of books for her?!!)

plus, I bought a gift for the other DIL, who steve had in the grab bag, saving him shopping time. then I came home and baked a batch of powder sugar crescent cookies.

so I was a mite tired when I posted. Jeremy is definitely NOT a "her"!!! but Patches is.

I was watching my own version of the Kilamanjaro Safari today, at work. the guys at the VFW were watching the National Geographic channel... it was "big Cats":

see the pretty antelope and gazelles... see the beautiful giraffes. see the lions and leopards run so fast.. so free! .. see.. oops don't want to look .. don't want to see..

"mommy why is there red all around the big cats' mouths?".. "um, honey, I thing those nice gazelles just shared their secret recipie for strawberry jam with those nice lions".... (jungle cruise, anyone?:lmao:)

Oh Smidgy, wished I'd known this two months ago. My Dad is a huge Alex Cross fan and just donated a whole bunch of books to our library. He reads them so fast, the binding isn't even broken. Could've shipped them out to you! Great idea looking for the used books though.

Good luck with your cataract surgery - maybe you better have one of the kids take you. With Nebo's luck with eyes, not sure you want him anywhere near you! :rolleyes1 I like Fsmith's "Stable-eyes"! I'm hoping for that for you too Nebo!

nrod! thanks! I know, I had a few of those books myself about 8 years ago.. donated them.

i did collect the first 4 of the 8 Women's Murder club books, all used just threw then in the box as an extra, in case she would like them....

I love book series. I read all the the John jakes series.. historical novels.

and. I LOVE people who love to read!!!!

I think you are right about us being in the minority, most folks prefer Festivus but i still like this better.
Is there a soundtrack available? It must be pretty short though since the whole show is only 25 minutes. To this day I can't picture a nearby kiosk selling Nemo disks and stuffage.

There is a little cart by the exit (or at least there was the last time I was there) but it is easy to miss because it is on the far side of the walkway and the swarms of people leaving the show get in the way.

I think the soundtrack is available in the park, but I bought it on itunes.

Hi Nebo,
I'm a lurker fan. My DH is the funny one in this family so no cute quips here! I just read and LAUGH! :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

I read your last report and just came across this one. I'm only on page 33 and I'm a nervous wreck! You just came out of the mountains in Chatanooga and it brings back memories of my own dangerous trek through the dreaded hills of Chatanooga. We're from Valparaiso, IN (have you heard of it?) I'm very familiar with your area and your trips are the same route when you go through Indiana. We usually go in February and one trip we hit an ice storm. My DH had gone to sleep and I didn't want to wake him. I'm a pretty good driver (depends on who you ask;)) and thought "I can do this!" Heh Heh Heh...it got worse and worse. By now all the trucks had pulled off onto the shoulder and now I'm smart enough to be afraid!:headache:. I felt like I was the only idiot on the road. A white knuckled blonde idiot leaning forward, afraid to blink as I might make a wrong move. When we got out of those mountains, I could hardly open my hands off of the steering wheel I had been holding on so tightly! My chest tightens just thinking about it! To make things worse, on the way home, we hit a blizzard that forced ALL cars off the highways into the rest stops. That was a fun year. What we mousejunkies will do!:scared1:

DH and I thought the same thing about this chapter...Maybe we're just getting faster at reading...who knows. Not that any chapter Nebo writes is a bad chapter, I'm happy with anything we get :worship:

:

Oh sure, first put down my personal chapter as being too "short", then say it's still just fine after all. harumph!

Yes, there is a soundtrack available. I like to listen to it. I bought it in the park. One of my favorite park cds.

I have a feeling I can do without the Dory entrance of La la la, la la, lalalala,,, song.

Finger crossed that you stable-eyes!!! yeah i know that was bad.. sorry best I could do.. been up late going through the mental checklists for our trip sunday.. BTW. we let the cat out of the bag.. DD now knows.. little bit of initial shock and i think the realization is setting in.. she has a couple of days for it to sink in and the excitement to build :)

Stableeyes, good one. I'm glad you told her, now she can be as excited as you the next couple of days.

Not sure how much i'll be on the next couple of days before we head off and i won't be on while we're down there Mrs Smith won't tolerate it

Believe me, the last thing in the world I'm doing in Disney, is using a puter to get on the Dis,,,, or anywhere for that matter.
But don't you worry about me Frank, I'll be fine here living in the Great Lakes cold, and so what if I suffer from Swasong Disorder cuz there's not enough light, I'll make it, I always do, you go and have fun at Saratoga or wherever you're staying this time.
Oh, and when you walk over to T-Rex for dinner one night, sit next to Ray Romano and say hi.

So to all our DIS friends.. hope everyone has a merry christmas (Happy chanukah, Festivus for the Rest of us) or whatever holiday you choose to celebrate this time of year!! Hope everyone has a safe and Happy Holiday.. see ya after our visit to the Mouse!!

have fun, don't miss the Holiday tag at the end of Illuminations.

I love book series. I read all the the John jakes series.. historical novels.

and. I LOVE people who love to read!!!!

Does the Hardy Boys count?

. As for me, I'll read a book occasionally. :

No, I don't think the Daily Racing Form counts.

I have never been or bought anything on I Tunes, it sounds dangerous to spend money for something I'm probably only going to accidentally delete anyway. :happytv:

howdy lurker, welcome, oh yes, Chittynoogag, good times, yes, I know Valpo, how are Homer and Bryce Drew doing?

Wow, you had your share of laughs yourself as payment for seeing the Mouse.
You mentioned Feb that you like to go in,,
We went down in Feh of 09, a day after a major ice storm but took the Illinois route until we hit the ice in Nashville.
That the one you were in? I remember rt. 24 looked like Narnia. Check in more often Sweet Pea, don't be a stranger.

Well, since no sign of Ponzi yet,, guess I'll go and work on my next chapter, wouldn't want it to end up being too short, you know.:headache:

/
I read, I read!!! Currently I am making my way through the Harry Bosch series by Michael Connelly. My favorite is Janet Evanovich - she is hilarious! Other faves are Nevada Barr and Sue Grafton.

I read The Long Walk when I was in 8th grade. I liked it but I don't like Stephen King. Don't like horror.

Yes, I noticed Smidgy used the wrong sex more than once but I didn't want to be mean when pointing it out. I knew why she did it even before she explained it.

Ponze must be hibernating...

Now who's being violent???

I'm here! Geez, I'm working on it, I swear! Was off work for a couple of days and haven't had much time to post, but my 'critique' is half done. Should be up Sat mid-morning if it's not too busy at work.

Also had to say.... "Smidgy used the wrong sex more than once...." Oh, man. So many quips, so little time, so tempting to break the Dis rules... :rolleyes1

now I dont' know whether to love you or hate you!!:rotfl: you didn't care if I was mad or not, and you point out the "errors of my ways"... harrumph...

however.. I just picked up 8 of the Sue grafton novels at a resale shop(searching for the alex cross/Patterson books) I love book seireis, and the thought of mysteries with every letter of the alphabet intrigues me. I got A through D, then 4 various others.
my friday house cleaning customer has a lot of the Janet evanovich books, a bounty hunter?

one thing I noticed in themany thrift stores, resale shops etc. a LOT of ....... OMG!!! can you beleive it? I had the name, .. two seconds ago and,.. It'S GONE... GONE.. kaput. sucks getting old Patricia Conelly? nah,t hat's not it.. nebo noticed a lot of those books, too. she writes about a medical examiner. man, old age stinks, I had the name not 5 minutes ago.. really! well, if you want to follow her books, they are plentiful in the resale shops...

many years ago I was reading a series.. don't recall the author, but each book was the name of a state, followed by an exclamation point. it took a family from the the northestern states, and followed them throught the wagon trail trek out west, through the history of the USA< etc etc.

I got through about 6 or 7, (I was borrowing them from the liblrary) then.. the next one was out.. still out after about a month or so, I lost interest, forgot what was going on.. and that was that...

now, if it had been All My childern or one life to live.. I would NEVER forget what was going on.....still reeling and in mourning, sackclothes and ashes.......SOB!!!:sad1:

ps. the library is this amazing place. they give you books!!! for free. they say.. read them, bring them back, come get more!!! they also let you bring home movies!

and they just let be take a few paperbacks home for FREE!and never bring them back!!! used books!!

ok.. you readers,,,, how do you deal with people who don't like to read???
\
not to bring up any bad things here, but when nebo and I were divorced... well, I can't believe how important that was, when dating... and I couldn't believe how many people....well.. DON'T READ!!!
not just non fiction... cause my daddy, who , as you all know passed in sept. was not one for reading novels. but he was a very intelligent man, had a college degree in engineering, read trade magazines, newspapers, just didn't get into novels.

which brings me to NEBO... gee, that guy... what an enigma.

you know . he was raised in a blue collar family.. college wasn't important to them. when they realized he was visually impaired and hearing impaired,, they didn't do much about it... sorry. so he graduated high school, became a machinist , and was a great machinist.

He has a mind like a steel trap. He could have done very well in school if he had been able to see and hear what was going on.

there is no one's intelligence I respect more than Steve's.
and that ####just beat me at scrabble. again!!!

there is nothing sexier than a man who can compete with you on an intellectual level..

If quizzes can be quizzical, what are tests?

Are you saying you're tested by turnstyles?

You really want me to answer you, don't you. You know you do. You're tyring to get me banned, right? "Hey Smidgy! I've finally figured out how to get rid of that annoying Ponzi guy! He won't be able to resist this literary hook.

Fine… testicles. Let the chips fall where they may.

Friday morn, waiting for the bus to go to Animal Kingdom.
A lot of times we will drive ourselves there.
No, I don't mean we'd carjack the bus and say "Move over, I'm driving",

Man jumps on Disney Transpo bus and drives off. Frightened passengers notice driver is blind and begin to panic. Man earlier jumped in pool with hearing aids and can't hear the screams.

If you read most reviews of AKL, you will see much complaining about the bus service there, and I am here to tell you,,,, BELIEVE IT.

Ah ha! See I knew there was another reason why I didn't want to stay at AKL. When we're on site... I don't drive. I drive enough on a daily basis. I'm on holiday for crying out loud!

Animal KIngdom Park is right next door to the Lodge.
We got down to the bus stop at quarter after 8, but after waiting forever for a bus, we didn't get to the park until right at 9 o'clock, even missed the welcome show.

Just out of curiosity, I used the walking directions of Google Map to see how long it would take to walk from front door to front gate. Twenty three minutes.

I felt like an idiot smugglling in 4 little bottles this early, two for each of us,,, but, well, I've felt like an idiot before so that's nothing new.

Aw, you took the words right out of my fingers. I was going to say that you don't need to smuggle 4 little bottles to look like and idiot, but now I won't. Besides, that might be considered rude. And that's against the Canadian Constitution.

Following the masses straight to the back of the park to the Safari ride, she was able to scan the times guide and we made some quick decisions. For one thing, that was when we found out that Premevil Whirl was NOT going to reopen today, like we have read.
Crap, I like that little ride.

Not me! Rode it once. That was more than enough. My idea of fun does not include getting bruises.

I never saw the center dividing railing until after impact!

Ouch! When I was a kid we used to play football in the street in front of our houses. (you thought I was going to say hockey, didn't you? That's winter. This was summer) I remember... ha, more like "I'll never forget"... one time I ran for a pass and my right knee collided dead on with a fire hydrant. I flipped up and over the hydrant. I thought I'd exploded my knee cap out through the back of my leg. As the doctors say, I was in some discomfort.

this was much worse than when I tried to get in a boat boarding row on POTC that turned out to be row 3 and a half.

Yes, but I'm sure the people sitting in the row you just wiped out remember it with great fondness.

As we walked in I never took my eye off that damn divider
until we passed it.

Disney has far too many dividers in my opinion.

:lmao:

What, it's not enough to know how many people go on the ride, but we really need to know how many people left the ride. What if the numbers don't match up at the end of the day? Do they send in search parties to find the two missing people?

Nah. The reason for the exit turnstyles are numerous, but here's one example of why they're required.

500 people ride EE. 498 exit EE. Two missing. Now they only have to feed the Yeti one more person/weight of food. Ever notice there aren't any homeless people around Disney? Coincidence? I think not.

And you really think those are "animatronics", hunh?

And again, why do these things have to be crotch high?

Again, there's a good reason. Several in fact.

1. You have to take into account the median size of people who will be using the turnstyle. Too low and people won't see it and trip over it. Too high and small children may be hit in the face.

2. Again, taking height into account. Too high and people will duck under it. Too low and people will step over it.

3. And most importantly. It's just funny to have it at crotch height.

You have to push with your groin to get the bar to swing around and down, tripping the counter and allowing you to pass through.

Hmm. I use my hands to push it, or if my hands are full, I turn sideways and use my hip... but whatever turns your crank... or turnstyle...

No guy likes this. Sometimes your testicles go with it!
It's like having to have your testicles rotated every 5000 miles!
Or you can just walk through a turnstyle, the cheaper way.

Yeah, I can see that as a real money saver.

Have you ever run into a turnstyle that is meant for people coming from the other side?

Silly Putty thrown against a brick wall fairs better.
There's not enough vikes in the world to get you through that shock.

Why do I get the feeling that you’ve done this… more than once.

our goal is to get back to see Finding Nemo, the Musical at 10:30. Thought I was going to say, Fooling Nebo, the Moronical, dintcha?

Admittedly… yes.

Of course, I took some pictures. Let's play and see if we can find any animals in them,
cuz I can't see in the photobucket snapshots and I might have just been shooting where the driver was pointing.

152.jpg

So far this was not a great day for viewing animals.

Umm…. Nebo? Those big white rocks in the foreground? Some people call them Rhinos. Some people might even say, “Wow! Look how close you got to a rhino!” Some might even say. “Holy cow! (or rhino) Two rhinos! Up close!”

Finally, got up and close to a funny looking bird:

153.jpg

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ostrich

I heard a mom tell her son behind me that this is the biggest bird in the world, and the kid was, "wow, I wish I could see him flying."
You know what happened then;

For the rest of the tour, all I kept hearing in my head was,
"As God as my witness, I thought ostriches could fly."

Oh, the humanity! :lmao:

Then our driver pointed out a lion lying on a rock and this time he wasn't lyin'. And oh my God, now it's coming right for us, it's about to leap, OH NO...

img017.jpg

“Will you please get that stupid camera out of my face? Or would you prefer I claw it out of your hand?”

Sadly, now so much grey has set in and at the age of I think, 15 or 16, she's a retired starlet who loves me and Smidgy to death,,,,, and hates anybody else.

That’s the way a cat is supposed to be. You can see pictures of the real friendly ones plastered on fences and lamp posts.

We did get up close with a nice rhino though,,

154.jpg

Nah, that’s just a white rock.

It was a little after ten, plenty of time to get back to see Nemo and get good seats, when something on the path caught my eye…

As many of you know, it took Smidgy and I about a dozen trips to Animal Kingdom before we finally, finally, caught up with Devine. I've hired private investigators, FBI, Navy Seals and they weren't ever able to lead us to her when we were there.

When you walk into the park next time, just ask a CM or look on the times guide. Worked for us. The first time I saw her, I didn’t know about her. I couldn’t understand what everyone was standing around for. Took me a few seconds to spot her. One of my favourite Disney memories.

I think she is so well done, especially if you can get her to move, fortunately, I know the magic words for doing that.

"Hey, are those hornets making a nest in there?"

I use, “That’s a cute koala climbing up your leg… looks hungry.”

On to Nebo!
I mean Nemo

For me, the rule in this show is the closer, the better, I think Diane agrees with me on this too.

I wouldn’t know. Another thing I haven’t done yet. Yes, it’s on the list.

And the colors are so vibrant, it's like an LSD trip!
Oh, not that I would know about those things.
But I've read about them.

Whoa. Dude. Cool.

While in the neighborhood we went over and did Expedition, find the Yeti. Ok, I did it. No, not find the Yeti, ride the ride.

Normally, I like to do this at night, that's because it's the only time I can see the Yeti in here. Otherwise....

It's light, it's now dark in the tunnel, you're moving fast,,it's light again. Nope, didn't see squat.

I had heard there was a reason I hadn't seen him lately;

The Yeti has been vacationing in the Bahamas for over a year now!

Really, Disney's most advanced animated special effect kept breaking down so they removed him until they figure out how to get it right.

He’s been removed? I thought he was still there, just not moving and with strobe lights to “simulate” motion? AKA Disco Yeti.

Now bear with me here, I think this is a picture of a picture of me on EE that Smidgy took, but the stuff around the picture seem strange to me.

So? What do you think, is that it?

:confused3

Smokers, as you all well know, and there weren't many bigger smokers in this world than I was until recently, but you are being phased out.

I find it’s becoming less and less common to see somebody smoking anymore. Now when I do see somebody smoking, they stick out like a sore thumb.

At about 11:30 now, it was time to go and do MY favorite park attraction,,,,

Flame Tree Barbeque!

Believe it or not…. Another place I have yet to visit.

Thanks for the chapter! :goodvibes

ps. the library is this amazing place. they give you books!!! for free. they say.. read them, bring them back, come get more!!! they also let you bring home movies!

::yes:: That's where I got all the books Nebo recommended. I just started reading Aztec but got side tracked by two Reader's Digests and a book of facts about Titanic. It's pretty normal for me to have two or three books on the go at the same time.

I think you are thinking Patricia Cornwell, she does the Scarpetta series, which I love! She just came out with Red Mist, i have yet to get it.

Beat me to it! :)

uhoh.. last tme I did something like this, MONY MONY sent me the last book in the twilight series.

I'm sorry for your pain. :rotfl: Actually, I didn't mind the books. When you read them you have to keep in mind who the target audience is though.

When you see the movies... yeah. :sad2:

I took my girls (DW, DD14, DD10) to see the latest one on opening weekend. It was hosted by a local radio station. The theatre was pretty full and the hostess made a point of saying that there was one Dad in the room. I looked around and the only other male in the theatre was some young fella, too scared to tell his new girlfriend that he'd rather have a shot in the eye then watch this movie.

ok.. you readers,,,, how do you deal with people who don't like to read???

Give 'em a library card!

which brings me to NEBO... gee, that guy... what an enigma.

Oddly enough, not the word I would have used there. :rolleyes1

He has a mind like a steel trap.

Interesting, because I have a mind like a steel sieve. Not only that... but... um... what were we talking about?

ding ding ding. we have a winnner! that was it.. I can't believe how many of her boks were readily available at all the thrift stores, resale shops, libraries,..

I don't think its necessarily a bad thing. I know I have way to many books on my shelves at home as it is, and with the new e-readers out there, people are probably getting rid of the paper books and going to the electronic versions. I personally love Patricia Cornwell, But I have to be careful when I begin one of her books because its hard to put them down.

uhoh.. last tme I did something like this, MONY MONY sent me the last book in the twilight series.

I enjoyed the books, I'm not a huge fan of the movies, but they weren't bad. I think the problem for me was Stephanie Meyers is only a so-so writer. I agree with Ponzi (Shhhh...don't tell him I said that) that you have to take into consideration who the target audience is. For the adult versions, you'll have to turn to Charlene Harris' Sookie Stackhouse series.

ok.. you readers,,,, how do you deal with people who don't like to read???

DH is not a reader. I have to admit that I think since we have been together he's read more he had since probably high school ;) however, that is only because I introduced him to the Magical World of Harry Potter...We had to get two copies of the final book when it came out so we could read it at the same time. I tried to get him to read the Twilight series and he gave up after the 3rd book and refuses to read the 4th and continues to ask me to tell him what happened. I happily refuse to tell him, although i'm sure he's already found out through Wikipedia. :rotfl:

I think I finally came to accept that Mr. T is not a reader. I bury myself in my books and leave him to play Angry Birds. :lmao:

Oh sure, first put down my personal chapter as being too "short", then say it's still just fine after all. harumph!

Who me? I would never put down a nebo classic.
Whether you write down two words or two thousand, its enjoyable to me...

No, I don't think the Daily Racing Form counts.

Are you sure? Because he can spend an awful long time studying those things...

there is nothing sexier than a man who can compete with you on an intellectual level..

Well thank you honey, she's not kidding either;
before she'd go out with me I had to fill out her SAT's first!

I actually got that dumb little joke from a Sunday newspaper cartoon, Soup to Nutz....just a dumb thing that struck me funny.

Ah ha! See I knew there was another reason why I didn't want to stay at AKL. When we're on site... I don't drive. I drive enough on a daily basis. I'm on holiday for crying out loud!

This has been the attitude I have always had, after driving down I'm not even gonna look at the car unless we are changing resorts. One difference though,,, I don't think you drive down, so who's car would you use?

Just out of curiosity, I used the walking directions of Google Map to see how long it would take to walk from front door to front gate. Twenty three minutes.

Ok, got me here,,, you can't walk from resort to park,,,,Can you?

Aw, you took the words right out of my fingers. I was going to say that you don't need to smuggle 4 little bottles to look like and idiot, but now I won't. Besides, that might be considered rude. And that's against the Canadian Constitution.

I'm glad to hear you have good constitution, very important.

Not me! Rode it once. That was more than enough. My idea of fun does not include getting bruises.

Cant argue that, you do get beat up on that ride.

I've played both football AND hockey in front on the street. "Ok, you run out to the Mustang and make a right, I'll hit you!"

3. And most importantly. It's just funny to have it at crotch height.

Ding Ding Ding, we have another winner!

Why do I get the feeling that you’ve done this… more than once.

sigh,,,, ok, once.

Umm…. Nebo? Those big white rocks in the foreground? Some people call them Rhinos. Some people might even say, “Wow! Look how close you got to a rhino!” Some might even say. “Holy cow! (or rhino) Two rhinos! Up close!”

Hey, look at that, now that the picture is bigger,,,, that rock has a tail!

“Will you please get that stupid camera out of my face? Or would you prefer I claw it out of your hand?”

When you walk into the park next time, just ask a CM or look on the times guide. Worked for us. The first time I saw her, I didn’t know about her. I couldn’t understand what everyone was standing around for. Took me a few seconds to spot her. One of my favourite Disney memories.

We have asked a cast member before and gotten the cold shoulder. And no, she is never listed in the times guide, unless that's something new now.

I wouldn’t know. Another thing I haven’t done yet. Yes, it’s on the list.

I get more and more jealous of you,,, so many new things to experience for the first time!

He’s been removed? I thought he was still there, just not moving and with strobe lights to “simulate” motion? AKA Disco Yeti.

I'm the wrong one to ask here, I know they did do the strobe thing for awhile, but I'm pretty sure he's gone now.

:confused3

Believe it or not…. Another place I have yet to visit.

Thanks for the chapter! :goodvibes

Thank you Canadian Dude, I'm still so amazed at how well you speak our language!
By the way, don't blame me for the next chapter, I'm just responding to the critics.

::yes:: That's where I got all the books Nebo recommended. I just started reading Aztec but got side tracked by two Reader's Digests and a book of facts about Titanic. It's pretty normal for me to have two or three books on the go at the same time.

I have always been a sucker for historical tragedies, I've read a few books on the Astors and the Titanic.

Another great book,, actually there was two,, were written on the Indianapolis, remember Quint talking about it in Jaws? Heck, I even read a book on the Andrea Doria, which had this little incident with the Stockholm.

Oddly enough, not the word I would have used there. :rolleyes1

Don't like "enigma" for me, eh?

Does "enema" work better for you?:rotfl2:

Interesting, because I have a mind like a steel sieve. Not only that... but... um... what were we talking about?

I think she was trying to come up with P-Trap, not steel trap, meaning my mind is a drain.

Oooh :cheer2:pixiedust:...What do I win?

Fastpasses to 20000 Leagues Under the Sea!

Kinda like Nebo trip reports, right?

I enjoyed the books, I'm not a huge fan of the movies, but they weren't bad. I think the problem for me was Stephanie Meyers is only a so-so writer. I agree with Ponzi (Shhhh...don't tell him I said that) that you have to take into consideration who the target audience is. For the adult versions, you'll have to turn to Charlene Harris' Sookie Stackhouse series.

I keep hearing that two far superior movies to the Twilight series are the Swedish, I think,,,, Let the Right One In,,,, and also the American Version that I think is just, Let Me In, but never seen either of them yet.

:rotfl:

That's funny, we've had battles over who gets to read that last two Harrys.

I think I finally came to accept that Mr. T is not a reader. I bury myself in my books and leave him to play Angry Birds. :lmao:

I have never played Angry Birds, I can do that on the computer for free, right?

Who me? I would never put down a nebo classic.
Whether you write down two words or two thousand, its enjoyable to me...

Gag. Me.

Are you sure? Because he can spend an awful long time studying those things...

Yes, I know, I know, I have spent many an hour studying the Daily Racing Form myself.

This has been the attitude I have always had, after driving down I'm not even gonna look at the car unless we are changing resorts. One difference though,,, I don't think you drive down, so who's car would you use?

Actually have driven twice.

Ok, got me here,,, you can't walk from resort to park,,,,Can you?

I don't see why not. There's a road... walk beside it.

We have asked a cast member before and gotten the cold shoulder. And no, she is never listed in the times guide, unless that's something new now.

I'm pretty sure it was posted on the board. I do know that we knew what time she was performing. Then we asked a CM where she was going to be and got directions to the place she comes out (at the time, right by Rainforest Cafe).

I get more and more jealous of you,,, so many new things to experience for the first time!

Ah yes, of course. "I'm so jealous of you because I've gone so many times that I've seen and done it all."

Thank you Canadian Dude, I'm still so amazed at how well you speak our language!

Danke Schoen

By the way, don't blame me for the next chapter, I'm just responding to the critics.

Uh, oh.

Another great book,, actually there was two,, were written on the Indianapolis, remember Quint talking about it in Jaws?

Yup. Saw a show (probably shark week) that described it as the worst shark attack/attacks ever.

Don't like "enigma" for me, eh?

Does "enema" work better for you?

Nope. What is the end result of an enema? Well then you wouldn't be full of it anymore, right?

yes. pun intended. couldn't resist.
