Didn't Nebo already warn you about not encouraging me? Now he's gonna be mad. Don't say you weren't warned!

Mwahahaha! That is my best impersonation of an evil laugh I can muster in a forum. You must use creative license to make it sound good. Waking the sleeping giant of snarky commentary is a "must do" in any respectable Nebo thread!

So this is it. Nebo and Smidgy's last night in Disney on this trip, unless he decided to add a day or two, to complement the addition to the beginning of the trip. I think the original plan was to go to MK today. MK is a good choice, but oh man, leaving that park is hard on the last day. You have to consciously tell yourself, "I will be back".

Tomorrow the trusty Santa Fe should point north and if we have old school Nebo, the departure will be early.

I'm thinking Nebo might be pleased. He will have several pages of our collective creative musings to read. And hopefully, he will make an appointment with the dentist ASAP!

I know that a a handful of hours ago, some unknowing CM hung an eviction notice on the door of Nebo and Smidgy saying if they didn't have more money to give them, either the mouse was gonna get it or they had to vacate the premises... which Nebo no doubtedly read as "vacation on premises" and had to be corrected by a CM while he was doing the Nebo shuffle on the pool deck. So they loaded up the Santa Fe and started the long trek back to IL. Nebo shed a little tear and Smidgy fastened her seat belt while Nebo said "....and they're off"...
and amidst them leaving the parking lot, Smidgy screamed as Nebo ran into the exit sign because he can no longer see anything more than shadows. And since it was sunny, he couldn't even see those!
Poor Nebo and Smidgy! I think we should say a prayer for them that they make it home safe! AMEN!

That's too funny, someone has my name, lol. I know it wasn't me because; 1. Not that young. 2. Was at WDW in 08 but it was in August.

Most people tend to think it says auntdisney, lol. I am going to have to start noticing what people have written on their ears.

It's like Nebo's our grown up version of Santa! A little less hair, but hey, close enough! And maybe no visions of sugar plums, but rather sugared rum. And no sleigh, but he does have his trusty Santa Fe!! You get the gist.

I hope the trip home has been fairly smooth, what with darkness and light causing significant sight problems for Nebo. He's good for the 20 seconds or so in the morning when the night and morning mingle and vice versa in the evening.

I just have a feeling that this TR is going to be really memorable!

Come on Nebo!!!

So Self_resqing_princz thinks they got home yesterday, I think that they might be home today and buzz1121 thinks it's possible that they're torturing us and possibly staying a few days longer... Time will tell! Funny how when they're home we all want them to hurry up and get to WDW and when they're in WDW all we want is for them to hurry up and get home!

It's like Nebo's our grown up version of Santa! A little less hair, but hey, close enough! And maybe no visions of sugar plums, but rather sugared rum. And no sleigh, but he does have his trusty Santa Fe!! You get the gist.

Not a DISer was stirring, from Nebo’s TR;
The refresh button was clicked again and again,
In hopes that Nebo ‘n Smidgy soon would be in;

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
Been there since seven. A TR’s to be read!
And mamma with her laptop, and I with my pad,
Had just settled down for a read, weren’t we glad!

When out in Chicago there came such a clatter,
I sprang to the ‘puter to see what was the matter.
Away to the DIS site I typed like a flash,
It was slow and I prayed ,”Man don’t let it crash.”.

The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
That line was left in to see if ‘breast’ would go,

When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a small Santa Fe, all loaded with beer,
With a one-eyed old driver, cranky and slow,
I knew in a moment it must be Nebo.

More rapid than eagles his car it came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called out bad names;
"Now, Darn it! now, Dang it! My hands are all calloused!
I can’t see from one eye! And need a good dentist!”

To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
”Stop Nebo! Stop Nebo! You’ll have another fall!"

So up to the house our two heroes they flew,
With the car full of booze, and vicodans too.

And then, in a twinkling, I saw on my screen,
The tapping and pecking of DISers so keen.
”Are they back? Are they back?” was buzzing around,
While back in Chicago, Nebo fell to the ground.

He was dressed all in fur, from his neck to his knees,
’Cause it’s cold in Chicago compared to Disney;

His eyes -- how they twinkled! Well… one eye at least!
His cheeks were like roses, that wind’s a beast!
He was tired of driving and wanted a bed,
He had hair on his chin and yet none on his head;

He speaks not a word, but goes straight to his work,
And turns on the ‘puter; then turns with a jerk,
And while the trip in his mind is still quite ripe,
He sits at the keyboard and I hope he does type;

I was hoping you might summon the creative energy to do something like that. I've had a lot of fun trading witticisms with you.

Nebo and Smidgy are going to be pleased with the activity in the thread! They have some catching up to do!

Nebo certainly knows how to make an entrance, maybe not gracefully, but who says the best entrances are graceful? Graceful entrances aren't the most memorable.
