Has anyone checked out P!nk's new album?

Wow... what a difference! I liked P!nk, at least some of her stuff, like "Who Knew" and especially "Leave Me Alone". The first single off Funhouse, "So What" was just okay, so I didn't get too excited. However, the rest of the album is super. Mind-blowingly so, quite frankly. The second single, "Sober" is such a change of pace from what I'm used to from P!nk that it kind of shocked me, and "I Don't Believe You" is my favorite song on my Zune these days. I've also got "Please Don't Leave Me", "It's All Your Fault" and "Funhouse" in heavy rotation.

So is anyone else loving this album? (Or is this going to be another case like my last favored album, Charlotte Sometimes, which apparently very few people ever cared to check out? )

I haven't listened to the whole album but "So What" is one of my current favorites, and my daughters always turn up the radio and say, "Oh, Mom, here's your song!" when it comes on. We all like her!

I've always liked P!nk.. I haven't bought her new album (kindaa broke right now, ) but I love her radio hit, "So What". Everytime it comes on in the car I turn it up loud and sing along.. People must think I'm crazy.

Glad to know there are some P!nk fans on the DIS!

The weekly global musical expedition is scheduled to begin on Friday, January 1, 2010 at 11:00 PM*. On that night, Pink's high-flying "Funhouse" tour kicks off an itinerary packed with A-list performers set to roll out the first quarter of the new year including U2, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Green Day, Kanye West, Kelly Clarkson, Black Eyed Peas, Taylor Swift, The Killers, Coldplay and Katy Perry. Jim Shearer, of VH1's "Top 20 Video Countdown," will present the series.

As for Funhouse, I really like it because it was co-written and produced by No Doubt's Tony Kanal. It has a real "No Doubt" sound to it and I can actually imagine Gwen Stefani singing it also.

Holy moley!

I am so incredibly impressed. Yes, it was a great concert -- I am not surprised about that. But I am amazed how physically demanding the show was, with all the trapeze work she did, without lip synching! And she wasn't completely supported by the guidewires; she was doing a lot of the work.

It reminds me of cases when actors on some blockbuster movie train for six months prior to filming, so that they can do their own stunts... no difference here. She's got to be close to two-thirds of the way to professional trapeze artist status.

Anyway, putting aside the Cirque du P!nk aspect of the concert, it was an excellent concert. Heck, I'm convinced... if she tours around here again, I'll be there.

Note that there are two versions of the concert: VH1 played the 1 hour version; Palladia is playing the 2 hour version.

I was never a fan (although I think she's super fit and I love her non-conformity), but I've been signing Funhouse for weeks ever since I first heard it. Great song!

I love Pink! I just watched the VH1 concert this morning and I loved it. She is such a great performer

I love Pink. But I really hated the song Funhouse. I tried to give it a chance, but would eventually turn the radio down during this song.
I haven't heard the other singles from this CD

I haven't heard the whole CD, but I have been known to sing "So What" at the top of my lungs.

I love the song "Sober" from the Funhouse Cd. It is so well written and has such a haunting tone to it.

On a side note I never really knew that she writes a lot of songs for other artists other than herself. She helped write the song "Whataya Want from Me" by Adam Lambert and it is so amazing and real.
