Because she is black and white.... Like a Panda Bear.

We love her name, and we get a lot of compliments on it when people meet her.

LOL...I did that with our black cat. My kids wanted to name her Prudence after a character in Charmed (I guess she was called Prue on the show). I said I was not going to be yelling out Prudence for a teeny cat. Kids argued that our cats don't go out..nope not giving in.

BTW..cat was named Autumn by one of their friends. No idea why or how she came up with it.

I'll post pictures tonight but we need a name for a girl kitten. She's mostly black with a white belly and some white on her feet and a little white on her face. She is soooooooooooooo friendly.

We have a black and white kitty named Henry, and he is one of the friendliest, most loving kitties we've ever owned. I've heard from different sources that black and white cats do tend to be very affectionate. Not sure if there is any truth to it.

True story: Years ago, I had a cat named Wally. He used to go outside to go to the bathroom, wander around the yard a bit, then would come in when I called him. Well, we had just moved to a new house and as usual Wally would go out several times a day and I'd call to him to come in several times a day.

After a few days of hearing me yell "Wally!", our neighbor from across the street, an elderly gentleman, came over. He said he thought he'd come over and introduce himself since we kept calling him. Yep, his name was Wally! He told us he was confused at first, but then realized he probably wasn't the Wally we were looking for.

Just the other day I heard someone refer to black and white cats as "cow kitties". Whaaat?!?!? I've never heard them called that!
