P.F. chang's or rainforest cafe?

A giant ripoff. The only reason to go is for the show ( animated animals )
it is basically bar food with an extremely high price tag.

Agreed. Also, most of the times that we've gone we've had poor service. The animals are cute, but we have Disney animatronics for that.

Even though we now have a PF Chang's near home, I would definitely choose it over Rainforest Cafe

I would say PF Changs! I've never eaten at RFC but the menu made me laugh when I read that meals are served with potato chips and you have to pay extra for fries! Haha. I don't see how they can serve potato chips at those prices!

Although at WDW I think Rainforest Cafe for me because it's closer and not having a car, but if they were right beside each other. P.F Changs it would be.

PF Changs. I am beginning to have an adversion to RFC. The first one was built here in MN, at the Mall of America, so my family has been going for years. I could put up with the noise (screeching possessed-looking gorillas and annoying fake thunderstorms) when our DS was little, but as I get older that place just gives me the willies.

I vote for RFC. I know that the fod isn't all that great, but to me it is Disney. As far as PF Changs, for the life of me I just don't get it, I think their food is terrible.

We have both restaurants in the area where I live - If I had to choose, it would be hands down - PF Chang's. The only reason I would go to The Rainforest Cafe is the atmosphere for the kids. If you are at Disney - you have WAY better atmosphere in the parks. PFC has much better food, IMHO.

Just wanted to give another shout-out to Pei Wei that another poster mentioned. It's PFChang's food in a casual/diner setting. 1/2 the price for the same delicious food, if any of you haven't tried it yet and have it in your town. They have those to-die-for lettuce wraps!

As for your question, OP, I think I would pick Rainforest Cafe just because we don't have one in my town, and when at Disney we really look for heavy theming and fun for our meals (in addition to good food, of course!). Plus I can have PFChang's whenever I want, and I eat at Pei Wei all the time!
