Wonder how DVC owners that have recently sold thier contracts due to no APs are feeling now? That would be aggrevating to say the least I would think?

Not sure why…there was always a chance they would come back. I also don’t think that the massive amount of contract for sale were there because of APs. Some..maybe…but I’d venture that it had to do with a lot more than that.

Just like I don’t see the direct sales numbers going up sky high now that APs are back.

I imagine they are very depressed and regretting their decision every hour today.

I agree with Sandy that not many people may have sold just because of the AP. The official line was always they would be back and actually both in WDW and DL they've been sold shortly before.
Maybe someone was already on the fence the lack of AP was the last small push, but as the sole reason, I don't think.
More likely, people paused addons for that, which may have contributed a little on the crash of the market.

I'm guessing there aren't a lot of people who went from "own enough points that an AP is essential" to zero points in the last ~18 months. 10-day MYW tickets have been cheaper than an AP...probably forever. You'd think anyone who has affection for the Disney parks would hold on to enough points for at least one trip per year. People who do fall into this category probably had other reasons for wanting to get rid of all of their points.

Those who sold some points are probably looking at AP prices and not regretting their decision. lol. Or they're viewing it as an opportunity to now add a different Home resort.

Well everyone seemingly is talking about this being a temporary offer so I think they can rest easily knowing there are hoops to this with no future guarantee what will happen.
