Owners Meeting at Riviera

I read the title and died laughing as if all the owners were having an unofficial meeting or something. 🤣

*CHANTS* No more restrictions! No more restrictions!

What!!!????!!! I had finally gotten to try them over the winter and they were amazing and now they are gone? Who can we complain to?

Ask for my Monte Cristo back too while you're complaining. 🤣

Why do the villas have balconies not facing the fireworks? Seems like a shot in the foot to me.
Probably because it’s 90% a parking lot and Porte couchere view with some rooms getting a view of Spaceship Earth and fireworks a ways in the distance with no music or accompaniment. It’s particularly bland in the daytime. It’s pretty great for a standard view but not sure it could work as the PV designation….the people watching was fun though, people really do struggle with their luggage😅

Blasphemy! First Topolino's stops serving the veal tomahawk and now this?! At least the chicken tenders have the same sauce I guess o_O
The tomahawks rotate based (I'm guessing) on food costs and availability. Last I was there, Top's had French ribeyes (which I think are the same as Cowboy ribeyes). Main difference between this and a tomahawk ribeye: a little less bone.

The tomahawk I was referring to was veal, which is know is beef but not as large as the one at Toledo or CG. I was always told that the veal tomahawk was their signature and they'd never get rid of it. They had it for years and then early last year it disappeared. I haven't seen it since.

For what it's worth, post-pandemic, I've seen both tomahawk ribeyes and french ribeyes on the menu, though neither were on the menu last time I was there (I got the sole).

I think that's just a standard cut of prime beef, with the bone left in, not veal. My last french ribeye there was very good, though.
Yeah, that was definitely always my go-to there. I like the lamb shank too but perhaps I'll try the Sole next time.
