Owners Lockers

Does Bell Services transport the OL to your room and back or do you have to do it? It looks like it would be so heavy! I can't imagine trying to move it from location to location.

D

Yes, the Bell Staff will transport your locker to your room and then back to their storage when you leave.

Ours is quite heavy since it holds 4 bottles of wine - among many other things- right now! :)

I just signed up this morning for Owner's Locker.

I read my Mousesavers Hot Deal email concerning a special OL offer around 8am, and immediately went and signed up~ I actually had to go back and finish reading the Mousesaver email.. I was so excited about OL I forgot I was reading it... LOL~

I even sent Mary @ Mousesavers a thank you letter~

I just signed up 10 minutes ago!! What a deal, this pushed me over the edge to try them. Thanks for your post...I hadn't read my email yet! Ok now, can I fit that small electric griddle, small crockpot, a couple of dishes, cutting board, and utensils in it? :goodvibes

Was this offer part of the regular Mousesaver newsletters or something special that you received? I couldn't see anything in my last newsletter about a special offer.

This was one of Mousesavers Hot Deal emails, NOT the usual one from the 15th - looks like it got sent out around 6am EST this morning Monday 3/24:goodvibes

<chuckle> You're very Welcome!

I've been bugging hubby about this and while he had no problems w/ the $99 a year - the initial setup fee has been holding him back...

ME "Hey Hon- we can get a free Brita pitcher if we sign up~"
HIM - "we have one already" (drats I forgot we did...)

ME " Um sweetie - we can get champange and glasses if we ....."
HIM " Um love - we don't drink, usually~"

Read email today, signed up, sent hubby an email (he's out of town)
ME "I signed up for OL - here's the deal.."
HIM " Cool, sounds fair - glad you waited, surprised you did actually..."
:rotfl: :lmao:

I WUV my hubby~

I've started a list of what I want to go in the Locker already too~ everytime I think of something else I pop over to OL and add it into the list feature there.... I haven't been down to Orlando yet and I already love OL~;)

flechette and BWV Dreamin I will warn you that your suitcase will be awfully heavy for your next trip. :) I joined before my trip last Oct which was only a 4 night trip. Well, I kept coming up with things to leave in the locker: full size shampoo and conditioner, extra pair of sneakers.... Well by the time that I left, my suitcase weighed in at 46 lbs! (and only a 4 night trip!) This was one trip where even with buying souvenirs, my suitcase was heavier on the trip down than on the trip back. I even waited to buy laundry detergent until I got down there and it was still heavy. Of course, I still can't figure out why I bought shampoo, conditioner and other stuff up here and put it in my suitcase when my first stop in the WDW area was at a gorcery store. :confused3 That wasn't my smartest moment! :rotfl2:

How does one get the "hot deal?" I want to sign up for Owner's Locker, but I don't want to miss out on a deal....can anyone help?

D

We signed up for it this morning thanks to the MOUSESAVERS deal, too. I was nervous about it afterward when I got my "welcome" email from them and that said the regular price vs. the $50 off the sign-up fee, but I figured it was probably just a form letter. When I signed in to my account later this afternoon, it did indeed refer back to the $50 referral discount. Cool. Now we're figuring out what will go inside it. Full size shampoo, soaps, etc are all good to NOT have to take over and over again. My sons are boy scouts, so we're already used to packing in plastic boxes for camp, etc - so we can "practice" filling a similar sized tub at home first to see what we can fit. :lmao:

I have every intention of SHIPPING down a box via Fed EX ground:rolleyes1 , that way I can buy things on sale between now and Oct and it not hurt the pocketbook so much~ umm actually I already have a box setup as of 15 min ago:scared:

I want to get a spare set of eyeglass for each of us, I use the shampoo and conditioner from Bath and Bodyworks so that gets bought up here, Brita water pitcher, debating sending our smaller crockpot down, waffle iron a definite go... possible Disney Crocs get left down there, I want a Disney mug- will buy down there, extra clothes, underwear,... and hubby has already vetoed getting 2 lockers to start off with :rotfl2: .... he knows me too well....

I looked really really hard - I could not find one single complaint against OL. That is simply so impressive:cheer2:, I already feel comfortable w/ OL~!

How many trips per year do you think would make it cost effective?

Let's see, while I was down there besides the laundry detergent, I bought a WDW sweatshirt to leave there, a mickey wine bottle top, and probably a few other things. Excellent idea on shipping the stuff down. I wish that I had thought of it.

How much do you think it will cost you to ship the box? I'm gonna pack my smaller crock pot in my suitcase (with lots of bubble wrap!). Might have to have the DS carry on the electric griddle!:goodvibes

I have been debating to sign up also but after the newsletter special thru Mousesavers I signed up also. $50 savings made it an easy decsion.
Now to start planning what to store

Are you signed up for the mousesavers newsletter? It was in the email with hot deals that came out today from them.

Where does it say if you sign up you get a free Brita pitcher? Do I need to mention that to get one?

I just went there and signed up - but I think it may be too late to get the e-mail. Would it be possible to forward the e-mail newsletter to my e-mail address? I can PM my e-mail address, if someone is willing and thinks it would work.

BTW the discount is only good until Wed. the 26th per the email message.[/COLOR][/B]

FYI...I posted this same information today on the DIS and received a "warning" (no points) for sharing information not intended for the general public. Just thought I'd let you know.
