I am not sure but I would assume this question has been asked before.

Have any of you used the owners locker? If so, how do you like it. If not, do you not like it?

We usually go to WDW at least once a year and it would be nice to have one that we can keep our normal things in so we don't need to always worry about bringing them down. Also, it would be nice to keep bottles of liquore and some other things like a small set of clothes and other things.

I have also seen on their website where people have brought down a Brita Fitlers and always thought that would be pretty cool to leave down there as well.

Thanks.

My friend has one and likes it. It's a big container and holds alot. Definetly makes traveling to WDW easier.

We absolutely LOVE our OL! We have one and may need a 2nd one soon. It makes packing sooooo much easier. It is now easier to pack for a 10 day trip to WDW than it is to go away for the weekend. I have all our toiletries in the OL along with bottles of ibuprofen and the like. I can't even begin to list everything we have in there!

We have been debating one too as we go twice a year. However we fly Southwest with no baggage fees so right now it isn't too bad to bring everythign we need with us so we can't justify the cost. If we had to pay baggage fees though, I would do it in a heart beat!

I have never heard a bad thing about them from anyone who uses them. I think it comes down to working out if having the locker will make it easier or cheaper for you to travel. If I were DVC I would guarantee you I would have one.

I LOVE mine!

I keep laundry soap, full size toiletries, skin care, my hidden mickey books, a soft sided cooler, beach towels, umbrellas, my park backsling and fanny pack and all that stuff you bring down just for disney (oh, cute hair toys too)

It allowed me to do carryon last month when i went down for 4 days. All i needed was clothes and a small makeup bag. It was nice too, i had some drinks leftover-water and soda, and tucked those in there for next trip

If you go regularly, it is wonderul tohave. You don't have to worry what did you forget, it is already there!

You can also keep an online inventory and print it out ahead of time, mark it up while you are there, then update the online when you get home (or there if you have internet)

I used to stress about packing, espcecially all those little things i just use there! Now it is a breeze. :cool1:

Highly recommend it to anyone who goes once a year or more :thumbsup2

We got ours last July, and will be using it again for the first time since it's been packed next month. Meanwhile, DD has made a couple of trips and used it.

I LOVE not having to pack the stuff we have there...body wash, shampoo, conditioner, laundry products, and a whole bunch of other items. And their service is impeccable.

We fly SWA too, but the convenience of having this stuff all down there is priceless.

We have 2 Owners Lockers and we love them! We are DVC members and go to WDW about twice a year. We are able to pack with carry ons only for our family of 4 thanks to our Owners lockers!!! They have been delivered and picked up without incident. We even get a text message and email to let us know when they are delivered to the resort and then when they are safely back in storage. I have everything in them! Bathing suits, shoes, pj's, underware, blankets, all our toiletries, medicines, pins, pool/beach toys, life vests, laundry soap, and so much more! We are so glad we have them!

Do they deliver them after you check in or are they in your room waiting for you when you get there?

They're delivered to Bell Services at your hotel. After you check in, Bell Services will deliver it to your room, or I assume you can pick it up from Bell Services and take it to your room yourself.

Also, as their email reminder of your scheduled delivery states:

How does it work with pick up? Do they pick it up, or do you need bell services to come get it?

They will pick it up at Bell Services (or the front desk, if no Bell Services). You need to get it to Bell Services, either by having Bell Services come and get it, or by dropping it off there.

Lots of info here, including forums:

Also, probably lots of info on The DIS DVC board too.

I just signed up at the end of the year and used it for the first time during marathon weekend. I love it already. I have full-sized toiletries in it and lots of my Disney t-shirts and PJs. I also got a toaster that I stored in it and may get a small crock pot when I am down there next time. I just got DVC so I think having the OL is the next logical step for me!
