Has anyone else checked out the Owner's Locker yet? (One of the sponsor links at the top of the forum). What a great idea! I'm going to sign up, and use them for the first time in September!

It won't hold a lot of big camping stuff, but it will be nice to have all the little "extras" kept there for us. Things that I'm always forgetting, like, toothbrushes, matches, flashlight, aspirin, shampoo/conditioner, etc, etc.

Any other ideas for what it could be used for?

Somebody over on rec.arts.disney.parks group said they were signing up for it.

They were going to keep stuff like Squeeze Breezes, Mickey Ponchos, water bottle straps/holders, toiletries (to avoid the 3 oz rule on the plane). I think they said that the company will rent space for larger stuff once you sign up with them. They just list their smaller boxes on the website.

No need for one here. Oter than items we do not want stolen we pretty much have everything in the trailer except food, clothes(we do keep basic clothing in there) medications, golf cart and laptop. All the basics are in the trailer and do not need to be packed every trip.

That would be great to keep everything in your trailer! Unfortunately, when I flatten and roll up my tent, there's no room left in it to keep stuff! :rotfl:

I can see where they would definately be a help if you are tenting.

Well, I just signed up! I'm so excited about this! I can't wait to see my new fashionable, yet functional, purple locker! :goodvibes

Help me come up with a list of stuff I can keep in there! Right now, I have:

shampoo/conditioner
toothbrushes/paste
bodywash
shavers
shower slippers
dishsoap
matches/lighter
corkscrew (thank you John!)
wine glasses (I guess I'll wrap these in something so they won't break)
extra tent stakes
aspirin/tylenol
hair clips
batteries
travel alarm clock
small fan for tent (will this fit in the locker?)
small tool set (just in case)

I know that will probably fill about half the locker. Any other ideas?

Thanks!
Rhonda

How about walkie-talkies, small pool toys, extra rolls of quarters for the laundry, laundry detergent, paper plates, plastic cutlery...

Will they allow you to store flammables?

Duane: All great ideas! Thanks!! I especially like the extra rolls of quarters--I would have never thought of that!

Ftwildernessguy: Yes, I was told to use my best judgement. If it's something you would keep in a drawer in your home, then it's ok. I would be ok storing a small propane tank (like the ones used with lanterns), or a lighter. I don't think I would be comfortable storing left-over fireworks though! LOL

Something else I thought of, though this might not apply to camping. If when staying at the regular resorts, if you like to fly in late at night like we do, you could have a set of sleep clothes, and a change of clothes for the next morning, greatly reducing your carryons.

That's good! I suppose you could keep all normal "carryon" stuff in the locker!

I thought of a few more:

hairdryer (they always take up so much room in a suitcase)
comb/brush
hairspray/gel/etc.
towels
washrags
clothesline

This is fun! I can't wait til September! :goodvibes

we had the locker on our last trip to SSR. But we will be usingf it next time in the campground. Even though we bring alot of our stuff with us we still have certain things we only use while at disney world.

For example:batteries
pin lanards and pins
locking backs for pins
swim arms for the kids
copies of our annual passes
water misting fans
disney ticket holders and fast pass holders
mickey ponchos
shampoo
soap
dish soap
other odds and ends diasney stuff

we absolutly love not having to worry about making sure all that must have disney stuff gets back and forth. Some things are strictly disney must haves and if we left them home we would all be sad.

If you think you would not have any use for it in a trailer you could not be more wrong. we love it and would not trade it for any thing.

the service is great it was at our resort as promised and we sealed it before we left. it was nice especially not having to worry this trip about our pins. they are a must in disney but at home they would just get lost in the shuffle.

If anyone has any questions feel free to ask.
