I wasn't really sure to put this question so I just stuck it here. Please feel free to move.

Anyway, I know there is currently a special for the OL for $45 membership. Is that just the membership fee and there is additional $$$ needed on top of that? Is it $45 a year? We are planning a few trip to FL in the next few years so it might be nice to have one. Especially for diapers/wipes and such for my little guy.

For those that do have it; what else do you put in it? Are items like cereal etc safe? Thank you.

I have an owners locker and loved it so much that now I have 2 lockers!!! Seriously it is the best! I have one that I keep toiletries in, everything from sunscreen, shampoo, and soap, to water, hairspray, hand cream, and wipes. I keep all our cell phone chargers, ipod chargers, sand toys for the kids in there too. I also have activities and coloring books for the kids. My other locker has sheets, blankets, bathing suits, under ware, pj's, flip flops, crocs, jackets. I know I have a ton more stuff because both lockers are full! Oh, I even have a pop up hamper in there! We love the service and the owners are great! Our locker is waiting for us when we check in and when we check out we leave it with bell services. Once it's picked up we get a text message and email stating it made it back to storage. I don't think I would keep food in them unless it is sealed. Having an owners locker has made packing for our trips so much easier. We now travel with carry-ons only! They have an online inventory so you can keep up with what is in your locker. That really helps cause I always forget exactly what's in there!LOL

As far as the fees are, I am not sure what the rates are now. I do know you have to pay a one time membership fee(that is probably the $45 you are talking about), then you are charged yearly, I believe $99. You get one free visit per year and then have to pay for other deliveries if you go more than once a year. Sometimes they have specials where you get 2 visits free a year, but like I said I don't know what specials they are running now. I do know they sometimes have different deals here on the DIS, or mousesavers.com, or allearnet.com. You get the yearly charge after your first visit is completed. Then that is the date you get charged every year.

If you go one their website there is a message boards where you can read more info and here form other members.

Thanks so much for your help. That was great information. I will have to think if it would really be worth it though. I fly SW so I don't have baggage fees so the $99 a year seems steep. If they start instituting them, I may just have to do this though. BTW, they are doing 2 free pick ups a year for DISBoard customers.

You are very welcome!:goodvibes

We fly Jetblue and don't have any luggage fees either. There is something to be said about not checking a bag and having less to worry about, especially with kids in tow!;)

I do have to say that my DH did not want an Owner's Locker. He thought it was something we really didn't need. Well, he was the one that ordered the 2nd one! LOL That's how great they are! You will be amazed with how much stuff you can fit in those lockers!

I also wanted to add that we are DVC'ers so we go to WDW often and will for many more years. I like having certain things from home in our room to make it feel more like our home away from home, KWIM?
