I am thinking about getting the owners locker but lets say I am not staying at a dvc resort do they also deliver it to say Grand Floridian.

thanks for you help

Yes, I have seen photos of the van outside the GF even :)

On the OL website it lists like a zillion hotels they go to, and I beleive if they dont have one listed, if you email them, chances are they will drop it off there.

(on and offsite hotels)

Yes they do, and their service is just great. You will love your Owner's Locker.

We stayed at the Hilton at DTD in June and they delivered it there, so I'm sure they deliver to all the WDW resorts :thumbsup2 .

What kind of things do you put in your locker? I am trying to decide if it will be worth it for us?

Owners Locker is one of the best decisions I ever made regarding my WDW vacations. The service is beyond excellent! Yes they deliver to non WDW resorts. I recently rented at Windsor Hills and they went above and beyond to make sure my locker arrrived safely and was picked up promptly. You can expect that you will get a call from the one of the owners of the company if there are any questions or concerns on their end as to the safe arrival of your locker.
As to what to put in the locker, well everything! All my personal items, including shampoo, soap, deodorant, extra crocs, scissors, q-tips, can opener, ponchos, zip-lock bags, salt, pepper, sweet-n-low, dish detergent, laundry detergent, hair clips, rubber bands, garbage bags, hairbrush, comb, hair dryer, hot rollers, tea bags, coffee filters, coffee, pens, post-it notes, phone charger...well you get the idea!
Now with the airlines charging for luggage and the security checks that only allow small amounts of liquids to be carried on, it makes even more sense to have an Owners Locker! Just do it, you'll be glad you did!

Also, in addition to some of the other things that have been posted, I have a pair of sneakers and a sweatshirt in mine.

They also "rescue" you if you are an idiot.

I put in some other "Sartoga" resort instead of SSR. I get a call from John... "Did you really mean Disney's SSR? That other place is a dump and I know you are a single female, you don't wnat to stay there" LOL! (And yes I meant Disney and my locker was waiting on me!)

So does shampoo and toothpaste and stuff like that last a long time? I mean, if you only go once a year, is it worth it to store stuff in an OL if you just have to replace it every year? I have no idea how long that stuff lasts, but it would be nice not to have to bring it with us, but it would seem like it would go bad.

Now I could see storing t-shirts and paper items (tissues, paper towels, stuff like that), maybe a jacket and flip flops and things like that. But I am not sure about the liquid sundries. Anyone have experience with that? Do they last for a few years?

oooooh, just saw this thread...a big thanks to our Members for jumping in.

CarolA, you are by no means an idiot!!

Here's our list of locations but we will deliver anywhere in and around WDW and will even arrange to meet at the airport or elsewhere if you're just passing through Orlando but not staying (like for Vero or a cruise):

westjones, I don't think you need to worry about stuff like shampoo and toothpaste going bad. Some sunscreens might begin to lose effectiveness after 3 or 4 years but I figure if it doesn't have a date on it, I don't worry about it.

And, Teachckg, you'd be surprised at what people put in their Lockers. We never open Lockers (they're sealed) but here's a list of what people have told us they store..it will surprise you.

Stuff seems to fall into several categories:
-your stash of items that you only uses at WDW
-things you buy but usually have to throw away when you leave
-essential items that you have to pack for every visit
-things you're not used to having when you visit but make you feel more at home
