DH and I just signed up for the Owners Locker service.
We've been discussing what we need to get to put in ours that we will use every time we're in WDW.

What do you have in YOUR Owners Locker?:)

We have a lot of things in ours, and it changes constantly. We have a few kitchen items like spatula, griddle, any left over non-perishables like unopened things and even tea bags. Then there is the personal bathroom items like full sized shampoos, cosmetics, hair brushes, curling iron, etc. DH has his extra pen knife in there, as well as a razor and our electric toothbrush. We even have things like dental floss, sunscreen, etc. We each have a pair of walking shoes in there as well as night wear, swim suits, rain ponchos, umbrellas, laundry detergent, and any manor of things like that.

We love our owner's locker. Our's is also ever changing. Right now we have a keurig coffee maker and a variety of K-Cups. Shorts that we left from December because it was so cold we didn't get to use them. We're sure will get to use them at the end of March. Sunglasses, laundry soap and softner, Crown Royal, Malibu Rum, assorted large size toiletries, umbrellas and a host of other items. Usually, we stop at publics upon arrival and anything we do not use up during the trip, and is not perishable, we leave for next trip.

Once we did not check the inventory before we left and it was like a giant gift box upon arrival. Going through it we were amazed and delighted at the stuff we had in the locker.

thanks for the replies!

It seems like I plan on having the same types of things in ours :)

Many of the things mentioned already are exactly what we have in our owners locker. In addition we also have 6 large mugs for our morning coffee/tea and a waffle maker, crayons, coloring books for DD etc.

In addition to some things mentioned we keep a crock pot in ours....wonderful for in room meals when we get back from the park!!! and a folding stool for our girls.

Have to have good size mugs for coffee and tea. That is really important.
Since my husband is always working on vacation we also keep a printer and monitor in the locker. (I go to the parks in the morning by myself and people watch.)

I just ordered a folding footstool, I had thought about needing one on our last trip for DD at the sink but then it went straight out of my mind. This is why I love seeing new threads started on these topics; they serve as a great reminders!

We also have a set of "larger" cereal bowls in ours. The provided bowls in most villas are not big enough for oatmeal.

That is especially true at AKV. The bowls there are way too small for cereal, or for much of anything. The cups there are also tiny so we had to buy some mugs as well as cereal bowls on our last stay at AKV. This is where an Owners Locker really comes in handy.

Router so we can set up a Wireless Network in the room. No fighting for the internet

Battery Charger & rechargeable batteries

Our first stay at AKV is why we have the larger bowls and mugs in our OL!;) Oh, and the wireless router is essential in ours as well.

We use only studios so I stock paper plates & extra plasticware and a set of sharp knives, an assortment of ziplocks plus some plastic containers for microwaving & wine glasses... Also...some plastic cups & straws for taking drinks to the pool along with can & bottle cozies, scissors, rubberbands, packing tape, collapsible coolers, ice trays & blue ice, candles, extra batteries, toiletries & moisturizers, sunscreens, Q-tips & cotton balls, Neosporin, Blister Block & bandaids, shave mirror for DH, OTC meds, flip flops, ponchos & mini umbrellas, string backpacks, sewing kit & safety pins, lanyards & FP holders, eyeglass straps, air freshner, flashlights AND most importantly, a bottle of Captain Morgan! :rotfl:

There are other things too (I have an inventory list with about 120 specific items on it) but that's the gist of it!! Love our Owners Locker...but am missing it terribly this year as we're not able to go down to visit it!!

In addition to almost all the items already mentioned, we have framed pictures of our kids/grandkids to set out so we get a homier feel to our room.
Also, a feather pillow (can't be without mine).
We love our OL!

We're debating on getting an OL, but I'm having trouble in my head filling it. Your list helps, but what do you use the rubber bands and packing tape for? Also, what are the FP (fast pass) holders? How delicate do you have to pack your glasses and bottle of Capt. Morgan?

As you can tell from my screen name I am just a wee bit retentive!! I just have to have an assortment of stuff like I have at home in our kitchen junk drawer for "just in case". So I have a baggie with the rubber bands, some twisty ties, paper clips etc. I forget why he wanted it now but I remember on our last trip DH asking me "you don't happen to have any rubber bands in that thing do ya?" AND I was like "YES!!! I DO!!" I forget what he was rigging up but he needed one for something. I don't use the little divided box that comes with the OL but I do have a small plastic storage box that is sort of a shoe box size. That's my "kitchen box". That's where I stash my wine glass, straws, coffee scoop & filters, plastic silverware etc. I just slipped this "junk drawer baggie" in there too. The packing tape is a very small roll on a little plastic holder thingy. Never know when you might have to repair a suitcase or patch something. One time we went camping and I had thrown in a roll in the back of the truck & DH looked at me like I was nuts. Well doncha know we stopped to eat on the way & he decided to get something to drink out of the cooler in the back & when he opened the hatch the big 5 Gal. jug of water had shifted & fell out splat onto the parking lot & got a hole busted in the top corner!!:headache: Well, guess what? We were able to pour out some water to below that hole and patch up the jug to get us thru the weekend without any leaks. :thumbsup2:rotfl: I should've been a boy scout!!

As far as the Captain Morgan goes - we found that the liquor stores in FL sell a lot of stuff in PLASTIC bottles!! :thumbsup2 I can't find them at home like that but I got 2 while I was there - one to leave in the OL and one to bring home with me as a "travel size" for weekend getaways at home! :rotfl2: OH and yes, FP = Fast Pass holder's on lanyards.
