Own Snorkel equipment

We cruised the Magic last April and could not have had a better time. This time we are doing the Western itinerary in September. My husband and I were going to bring our own snorkeling equipment, but does anyone one if Disney reduces the cost of the excursions when you don't need to use their equipment?
