OWN.. Oprah Winfrey Network

From what I have read, Dr. G is not one of the DHC shows slated to come back on OWN. I read Deliver Me and Mystery Diagnosis would. Right now, some Dr. G stuff is being shown on FITTV and I read it may move to TLC. I really think more coverage should have been given to show where shows were going.

I loved watching Dr. G, she rocks. I saw the OWN network premiere show "masterminds" and it featured Jay-z. I thought the story he told was great and really loved the way they chose to spin it. I am glad to say that my TV provider had the same exact shows on another channel is the 100s that are still showing. I like some of Oprah's shows, but not all of them.

Ditto! I loved that channel and could live without Oprah forever.

Right there with you! I deleted the channel from my menu. I'm sure the network will have its rabid fans, but really ... an ego network? Did we really need that?

I have no desire to watch this channel, mostly because the name 'Oprah Winfrey' is associated with it. I am *so* over the Queen of All Media, but I guess TPTB think that more people will tune in because of the Winfrey association than will turn off because of the Winfrey association. I am also over Dr. Oz, Dr. Phil, Suze Orman and all these experts who have this overwhelming need to tell everyone else how to live their lives.

I never watched Discovery Health either (I know I know, my bad, but we mostly watch BBCAmerica/Bravo/Syfy/A&E/E!/History Channel), don't even know if our DirecTV package carries "OWN" or not.
