Own centrepieces and decorations

Has anyone done there own centrepieces or table decorations for any of their weddings? Is it allowed and how does it work?

For Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings, the only place you can bring your own centerpieces is in ballrooms at the convention centers. In-park and special venues (like Atlantic Dance Hall or Ariel's) require you to use the Disney Florist. You may bring things like favors and place cards, but any more than 2 per place-setting and they charge you a fee to put them out.
