Own at SSR- Book Treehouse at 11 month window?

So if I own at SSR, can I book the treehouses at my 11 month window?

It seems the Treehouse Villas will be the next section of SSR so just as people who bought points at AKV when it was Jambo House can use the 11 month window for Kidani Village, the owners of SSR should be able to reserve the THV at 11 months out also. We never stayed in the THV when they were part of the Insitute, but I can't wait to try them out as part of SSR.

The THV area will open on June 1, 2009. Reservations will be accepted for stays after that date on February 8, 2009 for SSR owners and a couple of weeks later for other DVC members.

Here is a photo taken last week. The foundation work is abotu complete and some of the framing has started on a few of the THVs. Here is a foundation with structural steel in place along the canal:

I can't wait!!! We are thinking of switching our 2BR in August (we're bringing friends and they have an 8 yo DS) and now even considering for the family trip in 2010. My nephew (who will be 4) would absolutely love it!

Is there a link to the points needed for the treehouses? I see that they are all 3 bedrooms, but sleep only nine. So are they the same points as a grand villa?

Before February 8th!

I'm actually surprised that more information about the THVs has not been forthcoming since they will open on June 1, 2009. We have full info about BLT and that doesn't open until September.

There have been several reports that the THV points will be the same as a SSR 2BR. These villas are not as large as a GV, they will be smaller and they will only sleep 9. The 3BRs are all on one level - unlike the GVs which occupy 2 floors.
