Owl House Vs. Amphibia dark scenes in both cartoons

Okay lets compare The Owl House vs Amphibia I know that both cartoons are dark. It's strange that Disney decided to put a pause on The Owl House because of a LBGQT character and the darkness in a episode why did Disney let Matt Braly slide with that one episode with Lady Olivia, Marcy, and General Yunan with the SashAnne monster? I know Disney had a history of dark cartoon can someone explain?

Ok, in Owl House Luz is attracted to Amity, but I would hardly call that dark. I have no idea what 'dark' things there might be in Amphibia.

I don't watch Amphibia, but The Owl House is pretty good. It can be a bit dark, but not anything that would be controversial. It's usually always resolved, like the kids in "detention" in that one episode - dark but everyone was okay.
