Owen's Wish DISNEYWORLD 2011!!

Ooooh, those sound like super FUN dining reservations!!!!!

Hmmm - I have stayed at CS, and found it to be very nice, but not really Disneyish or Disneyfied at all more conference oriented???? I stayed at PO, and enjoyed the pool there.

I finally booked the extended portion of our MAW trip tonight. Since we are going to be there during the only FREE DINING week in December, I felt I just had to take full advantage of that offer. So we are staying at Port Orleans French Quarter for 4 nights!! I had a great pin code for room only discount which would allow us to stay at one of the monorail deluxe resorts. BUT.. for the same price as room only deluxe, we are staying at POFQ, with FREE dining package and 2 extra days of park hopper tickets. Can't beat the deal!

They were extremely accomodating once I mentioned we were extending our MAW trip. They are giving us a 'preferred' room on the first floor, hopefully overlooking the water. We can't wait to take the ferry on the river to Downtown Disney. It'll be nice and relaxing.

Anyway... I'm off to alter my dining reservations a bit. We have lots of character meals planned and I checked out all the menus on allears.net so we know which counter service locations to hit.

Owen had a cardiology visit yesterday and he is 'stable'. We scheduled an echo early November just to be sure everything looks good with his ticker. Then we will be cleared to fly!

Looking forward to a relaxing fall.. our favorite time of year!!

Hello Heart Friends! I am SO EXCITED you actually get to stay on Disney Property to extend your trip, how MARVELOUS!...I LOVE stable MD appointments, I hope the planning and fun is continuing!

No new news around here.. I am going to call our wish manager tomorrow and see if he has everything reserved. I need to know details on airlines and our GKTW info soon so I can schedule Owen's oxygen delivery and supplies. The portable oxygen concentrator for the plane is pricey and has to be reserved WAY in advance, so I need to get that done asap.

We are so excited for the trip, but are trying to not wish time away. Fall is our favorite time of year! We are getting our Halloween decorations up tomorrow and fall break is coming up. Kam is dancing a ton and Owen is making huge strides in Physical Therapy. He just got fitted for orthotics, so we should have those soon.

Owen is 39" and I need to figure a way to get him an inch taller before our trip. Ha! He is my thrill seeker and will be devestated if he gets turned down for Big Thunder, Soarin and Splash Mountain. ONE inch.. we can do this!!

I understand about needing to make plans...we didn't get our flight info until this past week...it was making me I am thinking growing thoughts for Owen!

I called our wish manager this morning and he gave me all the airline info!! Wahoo!! He got one non stop flights and we arrive in Orlando at 4:25pm. That should be plenty of time to get to the village in time for dinner, orientation and getting settled in!

On our flight home, we have to be at the airport at around 10am, so that leaves us time to keep our 8am reservations at Chef Mickey's for breakfast and a last Disney Hoorah before we fly home!

I ordered Owen's portable Oxygen concentrator for the flight, so things are moving right along!

I am sorry but i had to laugh about the 39" inches. Why i say that because my son is almost 39" and i hoping for him to sprout up to 40" so we all can enjoy most of the thrill rides together and i don't want him to be upset if he can't get on. I have a little over 6 months to achieve this goal so i am praying that he does.

I haven't kept track of you all -- sorry, I've been incredibly busy and thought things would improve once the kids got back to school, but I'm still playing catch up. It's so exciting that you have dates and I'm so happy you can extend your stay. I think you made a wise choice going for free dining with all those character meals. I'll try to remember to check in on you all more often.

I am hoping that with Owen's new orthotics and some new shoes.. he'll be just tall enough to ride! He is going to be a sad boy if he gets turned down for Big Thunder.

I know right? 39" is the hardest height to overcome. Your son has six months, he'll be tall enough for sure!! Owen has 9 weeks.. I'm thinking lots of veggies and milk!

Andrea.. life gets busy! I feel like I don't update enough, but I just don't have much to do.

We have been so busy!! I just started a new killer workout routine.. five days of week of 90 minute Zumba/Hip Hop Cardio classes. I am starting twice a week ballet classes as well.

Kamryn danced at the Diamondbacks game last Friday night and I was EXHAUSTED afterwards. I decided I needed to whip my booty into shape before we leave for 10 days at Disney. I am pushing myself more than I have in a long time, in hopes to see some results. SOON! I should see some soon. So far, I feel exhausted and beat up. I'm sure in a few weeks, it will start paying off.

I spoke with Owen's Wish Manager yesterday. He wanted to make sure I ordered the portable oxygen concentrator and wanted to make sure we were paying for our portion of the rental. Also, he wanted to make sure we knew to return the rental car and to ensure that we had a hotel already reserved for the extended portion of our trip. Yes. Yes. and Yes.

I am going to call GKTW and make sure it's okay to have Apria deliver a billion oxygen tanks on the Friday before our Sunday arrival. We need the oxygen for our first park day on Monday and they don't do deliveries on the weekend.

We are almost to the 2 month countdown! We have a crazy fun October planned and cannot wait until Halloween!! Kamryn is going to Princess Zelda for Halloween and Owen is going to be a "Spiderman, Pirate, Mermaid, Tranformer" I think we'll wait and buy his costume when he makes a final decision. Ha!
