Overwhelmed 1st timer

You already have some great advice but I'll just add our experiences. We have 3 kids, DS8, DD5 & DD2. The cars at Sci Fi can fit up to 6 people - at least our car could. We sat DS8 & DD5 in the front, DH &DD2 & Me in the middle row - we could have had a highchair but DD2 wanted to sit in the car. It was difficult helping DS8 & DD5 w/their food (cutting it up etc) as we were in different rows but it worked ok. DD2 liked the atmosphere. The other restaurants we ate at w/DD2 were, CM, CP, Ohanas (breakfast),CRT, Kona Cafe. She seemed to like CRT the best but liked CM & CP as well. I think its because the princesses were face characters not in full costume. But she loves Minnie (at CM) & Pooh (at CP) so when they came to our table she was just fine and very excited!

Good luck and have a wonderful time.

I think I am finally finished with our dining reservations - the ones that I am planning to actually make. I only did a few. I already had Chef Mickeys for breakfast & Akershus for lunch.

Took a chance and actually got dinner at CRT!!! I know it is two Princess meals, but DD2 loves Cinderella. Also picked Crystal Palace for lunch, and Sci Fi for lunch. The other meals we will just wing it - but I do have some in mind based on everyones suggestions. I am a bit concerned about Sci Fi now that I heard that it will be hard to sit all three of us together in the same Booth/car. I have to admit that my hips are not as small as they used to be!!! Maybe I need to change this one.

I think that is great and remember nothing is written in stone - if you decide that the seating at SciFi doesn't work when you get there you can always leave and grab something somewhere else.

Have fun with the princesses!

I could be totally off on this one-- (please correct me other disers) but I thought the dinner was just the fairy godmother-- no Cinderella or other princesses?

That being said-- my friend took her DD5 there last year and they loved the dinner. She said the atmosphere was worth it.

If you really want to see Cinderella at dinner.. there is also the 1900 park fare dinner at the grand floridian too.

I was happy to see you skipped the Rainforest Cafe. We went there a few years back and that is one restaurant I don't think I will go back to (and there are very very few at WDW that we feel that way about!)

Good luck with your trip planning!

Cinderella is there at dinner - shes in the lobby for pics just like she is at lunch (don't know about breakfast). She doesn't circulate the dining room during dinner (she didn't at lunch either) but you do meet her & have a nice pic w/her downstairs prior to dinner.

Some restaurants I highly recommend are...

~Whispering Canyon Cafe
~Kona Cafe
~Nine Dragons
~Le Cellier
~Crystal Palace
