Overstock.com Free Delivery Guaranteed by 12/24

Has anyone else taken advantage of Overstock.com's free delivery guaranteed by 12/24? I bought 3 items and I'm skeptical that they will actually be delivered. One had not shipped by this afternoon and I had to point out the green logo announcing the promotion for the item to customer service when they told me it was not part of the promotion. So far through the tracking numbers one item has been delayed twice by UPS, now set to deliver on the 24th, one item is via USPS and unable to track, and the 3rd is via some UPS/USPS combo mail service? I'm starting to get the feeling that they won't make it on time, just curious if anyone has had luck with this promotion?

I did a few years ago and no it didn't come in time. They had a restocking fee associated with a return and they waived it. They said that it wasn't really guaranteed because they had no control over the shipping. So, I do not believe those things anymore!!!

About 5 years ago I bought DH something with the guaranteed Christmas delivery-it arrived about two weeks AFTER Christmas. Customer service was quite rude when I called them about it-they said they can't REALLY guarantee delivery since they don't do the delivering. They sent me a $5 coupon off a future order.

I purchased something Friday, and UPS says it should be delivered on the 23rd. Fingers crossed.

There was a thing about all the shipping guarantees on the Today show this morning (I think it was the today show) anyways they said to read the fine print... what they are really saying is they will SHIP it before the 24th they do not guarentee it will be DELivered to you by the 24th.. a bit of a loop hole

QVC says you will Receive it by Xmas...we shall see!!!
