When I started this thread, I guess I should have been a little more specific. I don't HATE bagels. It's just that I'd rather eat something else. They just don't do much for me - they're almost like eating nothing. Does that even make sense?

So bagels don't gross me out - I just don't have the urge to eat them the way lots of people do.

Another highly overrated food for me is herbal tea. I've tasted some that are OK - and I even drink chamomile tea for the relaxing effects, but I really don't see the big deal. I like plain old Salada much more.

I don't care for sweets too much but Tiramisu is the ONE thing that will give me a When Harry Met Sally moment

Krispy Kreme's are gross, they make my teeth hurt
I don't get the beer and wine thing. Both are gross. I prefer a mixed drink any day.
Tuna fish...yuck, yuck, yuck. It looks bad AND smells bad.

With Thanksgiving coming up:
Pumpkin pie, dark meat of the turkey, mince meat pie, apple pie, choc. pie...I guess I really just don't like pie too much!

Speaking of wedding cakes though...when one of the guys from DH's unit got married they had the best wedding cake I ever tasted! It had this raspberry layer in it that was to die for! I usually hate raspberries, but OMG, it was sooo good!!

In Adventureland across from the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse - I enjoy them & so do my DD's. There a must on every trip now that we've tried them.

All I can say is the one thing that I just don't get is the Krispy Kreme donughnut thing. They are awful!!

As to the Dole Whip it could be that some of us are saying it is good from a nostalgic standpoint. Years ago it used to be very, very good. It was served in a small stemmed plastic glass and garnished with a spear of fresh pineapple. But like all good things at Disney..they changed it. Maybe that is why some of you do not think it is all that great. You never had it when it was!

Wedding cake is grossly over-rated and grossly over priced. However has anyone in NE had an Alden Merrill wedding cake? I am thinking of a choclate one with cream cheese frosting. Of couse I am already married so I am just thinking about a cake for no reason.


NOw on to lobsters, I am the only one in my family who LOVES them the rest do not even eat fish!! I know it is a love or hate thing and I really go LOVE them.

Sweet Tea- oh my god, SO SO gross!! Give me regular ice tea anyday.

Chicago Pizza-who EVER told them they could make pizza as good as NY LOL??

I agree with poohgirl71 about the Krispy Kreme and making my teeth hurt too.........way to much sugar on the out side. I just don't understand the big crazy about them.

I used to love the mickey bars in the mid 90's when they were not so heavy. I think they were made by another company at the time.

I love lobsters but the for the price it is just worth the cost!!! I spluge on them once a year.....today infact. It is our annual BYOL (lobster) as our end of season party that we have.

Most oriental cuisine, IMHO is highly over rated... never have cared for it and I've tried several times over t heyears ,,,

pizza,,, unless its fresh cooked with no red sauce,,, bleck


bagels, krispy kremes, can do with out those too,,, was spoiled when i was younger we had a real old fashioned bakery in the town i grew up in,, no ones baked goods compare

To my hubby...prime rib is heaven on earth....

To me...it's roast beef and why bother!!
