Hi!

We stayed in a cabin at FW last year & absolutely loved it!

This year, my parents plan to join us for 2 nights of our vacation in WDW, so we're trying to decide where the best place for us is. (They want to stay at whichever resort we're at.)

The cabins sleep 6, but, when I make my reservation, I'll just be making a reservation for myself, my husband, & our 2 children (4 total).

Can I add my parents for 2 nights? I don't mind paying an extra fee for those 2 nights. If I pay an extra fee for my parents for 2 nights, will they be eligible for the dining plan? I think probably not.

What I'm thinking is that, if they stay w/ us in a cabin for 2 nights, they will have to pay separately for their meals & tickets to the theme parks. In other words, they wouldn't be eligible for a MYW package.

I guess what I'm asking is - Legally, can my parents spend 2 nights w/ us at the cabin if they're not on the reservation for our full length of stay?

Additionally, they will be driving down & will have a car. We will also have our car. Can you park two vehicles at the cabin? If not, where would the "extra" vehicle have to go?

I checked w/ my AAA agent, & she said to just check my parents in at the front desk when they arrive for their 2 nights & that they would be given a parking permit. But, that's seems a little too easy... :teeth:

We'd really like to stay in the cabins again, but, if my parents can't say w/ us, then we'll probably have to move to the WL or CBR & get 2 rooms - 1 for us & 1 for my parents.

Thanks for the help!

Having stayed there I'm sure you are aware it will be a little tight for four adults and two kids. But, with that said, yest you can have them stay with you for a couple of nights.

Your AAA agent only gave you part of the information (or they may not know that much about FW). Yes, check them in for the nights they will be there and they will be give a parking permit, but they can not park at the cabin. Cabin parking is restricted to one vehicle only. Not to say that some folks don't break this rule, but it is the rule. Additional vehicles need to be parked in the overflow lot out front by the reception outpost with the parking permit in the window.

As to the meal plan, I think all meal plans have to be for the length of the reservation, not jut the days your parents will be there.
