Overkill to eat at BOG 3 times?

On an 8 night trip would it be silly to eat at BOG 3 separate times? Once each breakfast, lunch, and dinner on all different days. We will be on the dining plan.

We ended up booking the same thing. We enjoyed the lunch previously but never had dinner. We went ahead and booked those on separate days then I got to reading about breakfast and we were going to have extra counter service credits so booked that too. Now wondering the same thing. Will it take the fun out of BOG?

I think that 3 times at the same place my be a little much. I would change things up personally since I would get sick of going to the same place 3 days in a row. Maybe keep breakfast and dinner. Go somewhere else for lunch.

We did last year. Once for each meal, each on a different day. was a different experience each time. We had breakfast on a Tuesday with the whole family, just my family of 4 for dinner on a Wednesday and then lunch for everyone together on that Saturday. No different than we ate at CHH 2 times that trip too.

Did BOG for lunch and dinner and probably won't go back. We are used ar eating french food and BOG is beliw average imo. So 3 times would be too much for us (and way too much salt) but if you enjoy the food there why not?

With so many great restaurants to chose from on Disney property, we wouldn't eat at the same one 3 times, but we never eat anywhere twice - except the food court for breakfast. But it's your vacation, so eat anywhere you want!!

We are doing it for our 15 day trip, 1breakfast, 1lunch, 1 dinner. We have done lunch and dinner before and I can't remember what one we did not like. I want to say dinner, so because we don't remember, we will do all three and this time write it down which one we like and which one we don't like.

Not at all! Why would it be silly if you want to do it - it's for your enjoyment, no one elses. We usually eat there twice in 10 days just for lunch, and Cape May twice for dinner.

We have 8 nights last week of August on the free QSDP, and have two lunches and one PPO breakfast booked.

We had lunch last August, and really loved it. For a QS meal, it was great. It's a lot of food, though, so odds are DD and I will share a sandwich and each get soup.

Breakfast is overpriced for what it is, and we're not morning people at Disney, but it's our last day for our AP's (saving our tickets on this package for next year), so want to go out with a bang. Rolling out of bed, doing breakfast and a few rides, then back to swim/chill and then onto another park.

I think it's totally cool to do all 3! Dinner menu doesn't appeal to me, but we loved the lunch!

I cant say its silly as there may be many here who really like it. I have only been for lunch so I can only speak to that experience. The atmosphere, awesome, the food, not so much. So IMO, I wouldnt do it 3 times, I would be thinking about 2 other places I could have eaten at I would have enjoyed

We currently have it booked for 3 of our 4 MK days (eating at CRT the other MK day). I do not think it is overkill at all. We will do a dinner the first week since we will have TS credits and then the second week we will do 2 lunches since we will only have QS credits. IMO BOG is the best QS option in MK, and I'd rather eat there twice than settle for Cosmic Rays, Pecos Bill's or Casey's.

We had a breakfast, lunch and dinner ADR's last trip and LOVED each one! We enjoyed them so much that we have all 3 booked again for next trip. They are all different experiences
-breakfast PPO is a great way to start our day; lunch is one of our favourite QS meals at WDW (braised pork, quiche, cupcakes); and dinner was delicious (and the Beast had a lot of charisma - first time we met him!). I say go for it!

Thing is I *don't* know if it's what I want to do! BOG is new since the last time I was at WDW so I have no idea if we'll enjoy it. I'm still trying to figure out our first night TS meal. I think we'll get to our resort in the early afternoon then head to Fantasyland for just 2-3 hours then get dinner. It will just be DH, myself, and our 2 and 4 year old DDs. I was thinking Chef Mickey's but then thought maybe it would be nice to eat in the park where we already are (and then we could keep touring if the kids are up to it). I've never eaten at either. Thoughts comparing the two?

It's not silly or even it is, doesn't much matter if that's what you want to do then go for it.

I personally wouldn't repeat a restaurant, let alone do one 3 times, but that's because I'm always struggling to fit in all the different places I want to eat at it, so I have to spread the love!

Well, Dinner at BOG is entirely different than lunch (I've never eaten there for breakfast). I, personally, love it for both lunch and dinner, but very different experiences, IMO. I very much enjoy the dinner menu & love the interaction with The Beast. You can't see him anywhere else on property. I'm not a Chef Mickey's fan. I don't like buffets, so I'm biased. I also don't like leaving the park to eat if I don't have to. I'd recommend keeping your BOG ADR's.

If there were A TON of great options for lunch/dinner at MK I might say yes! No! I say do what you think you'll enjoy!

I would only add my two cents on lunch: we did NOT enjoy it AT ALL -- reviews on DIS seem to be mixed. I have found dinner to be reliable, though.

If it was between Chef Mickey's or BOG for DINNER, I would pick BOG. Both for atmosphere and food.

We had all 3 meals there and loved it! First, my DH thought I was crazy but we really enjoyed all of our experiences there.
And our kids loved it too- especially the Mickey Meatloaf!

Silly? Not even a little bit. There are many people who enjoy all three meals there. You may think about doing breakfast and lunch there and doing dinner at Crystal Palace, simply for the characters as I bet your DD's would love Pooh and friends!!
